Today I met with members of faith-based groups from @justiceucc.bsky.social who are working on peace-building in Colombian communities. The US has invested so much in Colombia’s future & we must support full implementation of the peace agreement.
Honored to attend the premiere of “Wisdom Happiness: A Heart-to-Heart with the Dalai Lama” with @nancypelosi69.bsky.social & Richard Gere. I’m forever inspired by the courage of His Holiness—and I'll always be an advocate for the human rights & dignity of the Tibetan people.
Jamal Khashoggi was a journalist—a human being with thoughts and feelings and a family and a future. A Saudi prince didn’t like his viewpoint—so he had him brutally murdered and hacked to death. Anyone who can put that aside for polite dinner conversation is sick in the head.
Here’s the list of guests who honored the killer crown prince of Saudi Arabia last night at our White House, including Elon Musk (Tesla) and Tim Cook (Apple), and more: www.businessinsider.com/white-house-...
As I said on the floor today, releasing the Epstein Files is not about politics. It’s about the survivors—girls as young as 11 years old who were systematically abused by rich & powerful men. Tonight, I stood in solidarity with them & all survivors of sexual assault nationwide.
I’m glad the Senate swiftly passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. President Trump must immediately sign it into law & fully comply. No excuses. No delays. Anything less is an insult to the survivors of Epstein’s heinous crimes & survivors of sexual assault nationwide.
MBS literally ordered his thugs to hack apart a @washingtonpost.com journalist with a bonesaw. You are the company you keep!
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."
I share Congressman Massie’s concerns. Trump knows he’s lost Congressional support for his Epstein Files coverup, so he’s illegally using his corrupt DOJ to stall & manufacture BS excuses to deny the American People full transparency.
Today’s vote was a big step towards transparency & accountability for those complicit in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes. But this fight doesn’t stop here. This bill MUST become the law of the land, and Trump’s corrupt DOJ must abide by its ruling. NO more stalling or excuses!
Trump is the first president in U.S. history to weaponize hunger—blocking nutrition benefits because he thought it would help him politically. It's disgusting, but it's making me fight harder to #EndHungerNow.
The Epstein Files must be released NO MATTER WHO is in them: Republicans, Democrats, or anyone in-between. No one is above the law. Trump could release the files RIGHT NOW. Why won’t he? I think we all know.
Remember: As president, Trump could release the Epstein Files TODAY. His sudden reversal is obvious—he lost the votes and is now pathetically trying to save face. If he cared about truth & supporting survivors, why not release the files RIGHT NOW?!
NEWS: For months, Republican leaders have stonewalled a bill to release the Epstein Files. Now they’re trying to limit debate. So I’m teaming up with Congressman Massie & @rokhanna.bsky.social to start debate early and give this the time it deserves. Tune in to the House Floor soon.
Every news channel in America: airs the Epstein survivors’ entire press conference. Fox News: “TRUMP DECLARES HIS LOVE FOR MCDONALDS, FAST FOOD” Hey Fox News—Nice job siding with the Epstein Class & protecting pedophiles.
If you’re rich and powerful, the Republicans will go to bat for you every day of the week—even if you’re a pedophile running a child sex trafficking ring. But if you’re a working American, you’re left out to dry.
Wow. So rather than working to fight inflation, Republicans are re-passing a resolution they already passed “condemning socialism.” I asked a pretty simple question. Can they even define what they’re condemning? Spoiler alert: Apparently they are condemning MEDICARE as socialism!!
Every Republican in Congress will soon have to go on the record: Will they defend a pedophile? Or will they stand with Epstein’s survivors? I hope they make the right choice. America is watching.
Remember when QAnon said a cabal of rich, powerful men ran an international child sex trafficking ring out of a pizza shop? Well they got the first part right. But it turns out it was being run out of Mar-a-Lago.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau stops predatory, price gouging corporations from screwing you over even more. Trump & his cronies are literally making it easier for greedy businesses to pad the pockets of their wealthy shareholders & billionaire CEOs at your expense.
