Today we hope you will join us in remembering former Senate Majority Leader Kari Dziedzic, who we lost one year ago today. She was known for her tireless work ethic, quick wit, and unyielding kindness. She was driven by service, not the spotlight.
Timothy Bertz dedicated his life to public service — first as a Navy firefighter, then as a Navy Seal, and later as an on-call firefighter. I join his family and all Minnesotans in honoring his legacy of selfless service to others.
Happy Kwanzaa to Minnesotans who are beginning celebrations today! The Kwanzaa principle of Umoja (Unity) is especially fitting as we reflect upon the past year and look toward the future.
Merry Christmas! I wish peace and joy for all Minnesotans celebrating this special day.
With Christmas just hours away, make sure you're tracking Santa tonight! I hear he likes milk and cookies! www.noradsanta.org/en/
As I'm back in Minnesota to celebrate the holidays, I'm taking a moment to reflect on what this week is all about: Kindness, generosity, and caring for one another.
Merry Christmas to all Minnesotans who celebrate. May this week bring joy to you and your family!🎄
As Hanukkah draws to a close, I'm wishing lasting light and many blessing to those celebrating the final night of the festival of lights. Chag Sameach!

Under a federal law passed 427-1 by Congress and signed by President Trump, the DOJ must release the Epstein Files by today. Now the administration appears to be slow-walking. It's time to release all the files now!
The Kennedy Center is a national memorial created by Congress to honor a fallen president.
It is outrageous that Trump convinced his loyalists to act on his ego trip to desecrate this tribute to one of our nation’s great leaders.
Donald Trump isn't telling the truth about tariffs.
Trump's tariffs are taxing families, driving up costs for small businesses, and slowing America’s economy.
I just voted for two War Powers Resolutions to restrict U.S. military engagement in the Caribbean.
A regime change war in Venezuela is not in the national security interests of the United States. If President Trump disagrees, then he needs to ask Congress for authorization.
This morning, four Republicans joined all Democrats in signing onto Leader Jeffries' discharge petition to force a vote on a three-year extension of Affordable Care Act tax credits.
The clock is ticking — these tax credits expire in two weeks. Speaker Johnson needs to hold a vote immediately!
Republicans control the White House, the House, and the Senate. What’s their record?
🏥 17 million could lose health care
🍽️ 22 million could lose SNAP benefits
⚕️ Health care premiums are doubling
Why? Republicans gave a trillion-dollar tax cut to the top 1%.
This marks the 390th mass shooting this year. Thoughts and prayers are not enough — Congress must take action to end gun violence.
My heart is with the students, faculty, and staff of Brown University as their community continues to search for answers following a mass shooting over the weekend that claimed the lives of two students and injured nine others.
