Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating here in Minnesota and around the world today! May this day fill you and your loved ones with peace and happiness.
It was a privilege to join the White Bear Lake community in honoring our nation’s service members this Memorial Day. Today, Minnesotans and others across this nation came together to remember our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live in freedom and seek justice for all.
As we spend time with loved ones this Memorial Day, may we also take a solemn moment to reflect on the sacrifices made on our behalf and honor the memory of those who never came home.
We remember them not only as soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, Guardians, and Coast Guardsmen, but as sons and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, friends and neighbors who gave everything in service to others.
Our fallen servicemembers and their families are more than patriots — they are heroes to whom we owe a debt that can never truly be repaid.
This Memorial Day, I join Americans across our country in honoring the servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and the values of freedom, justice, and democracy.
Tomorrow marks six years since George Floyd was murdered. While we have made great progress to improve safety and accountability here in Minnesota, we must do more in Washington to honor his legacy by passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. Progress cannot wait.

Saint Paul’s Downtown community is hosting their annual Downtown Block Party next Friday at Mears Park, offering neighbors a chance to enjoy live music, free activities, and family friendly fun for all ages.

WCCO Radio has delivered high-quality programming for nearly 100 years. I'm wishing everyone at the station nothing but the best as they enter a new era with ABC!
Nick Kristoff recently wrote a stunning account of pervasive sexual violence against Palestinians in Israeli prisons.
Much of Washington said nothing at all.
Today, I'm speaking out. I refuse to be silent while American resources are used to carry out human rights violations.
Speaker Johnson just cancelled a vote on the Iran War Powers resolution because he knows a bipartisan majority would have voted to end Trump's war in Iran.
The Speaker's cowardly decision is a complete failure of leadership. Republicans care more about protecting Trump than they do about you.
During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we honor our neighbors who make tremendous contributions to our state and our nation, including Saint Paul’s first Hmong American Mayor, Kaohly Her.
When the Congress passes a law and the president signs it, that's the law. Period. He doesn't get to pick and choose which laws to follow. We are only as strong as we are united.
For the 12th consecutive year, The Trust for Public Land has ranked Saint Paul's parks system among the top five in the nation. It's a testament not only to the city's hardworking public servants, but also to Saint Paul residents' tradition of conservation, community, and outdoor recreation.
As Americans struggle to pay for food, gas, and utilities, President Trump is making a fortune through self-dealing and corruption.
Public officials must be held to a higher standard. Stock trading should be banned for the President, the Vice President, and Members of Congress.
The American people do not want this war.
On this day in 1965, HeadStart was created. Since then, it has served over 40 million children. I'm committed to working to protect and expand HeadStart to ensure that every child has an opportunity to succeed.
