We'll put this simply: the Republican budget means showers of cash for the richest among us and crumbs for everyone else!
Democrats showed up today to make Republicans say it loud and proud on the record: you’re all in on drastic cuts to the health care many of your own constituents rely on to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
I'M ON THE HOUSE FLOOR
Let’s be clear: Republicans’ tax cuts to billionaires will be paid on the backs of seniors, veterans, and struggling families.
If DOGE is finding all these 'savings,' why do Republicans still want to lift the debt ceiling by $4 TRILLION in their budget process?
They're asking us to vote to cut Medicaid and SNAP to pay for their deficit-busting tax cuts for billionaires and corporations.
Seniors. Children. Pregnant women. Disabled Americans.
That's whose health care Republicans are putting on the chopping block to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
Democrats won't go quietly or let them make these cuts in the dark.
They're not sob stories, Congresswoman. They're livelihoods.
Every congressional district in this country has someone who is disabled, or pregnant, or elderly, who rely on federal funds to receive health care.
To the American people: Democrats are listening and stand with you.
Hmmmm.... the amount that Republicans want to cut from SNAP and Medicaid magically adds up to the same amount in giveaways to the 1% they're proposing 👀👀
Ripping away nutrition assistance and health care from the Americans who need it most to line the pockets of their donors.
House Democrats will oppose Republicans cruel attempt to cut Americans’ health care.
We’re here to tell the House GOP: HANDS OFF OUR CARE!
HAPPENING NOW:
House Democrats stand united against Republicans effort to cut Medicaid.
1 in 3 children in rural Wisconsin rely on BadgerCare.
Today we’re being asked to vote to force devastating cuts to the program.
Now is the time to honor our constituents and protect their children.

When DOGE AI even knows what Republicans actually mean…
🚨"Budget won't be changed to address Medicaid concerns, Johnson says"
GOP is full steam ahead with their plan to gut health care for Americans.
Speaker Johnson, what do you say to the millions of children, seniors, and veterans at risk of losing care?

Elon Musk and Donald Trump don’t care about your safety and security — they only care about their grift and who pays them.

Firing 7,000 IRS employees in the middle of tax filing season won't make the system more "efficient."
But it WILL make it easier for Trump's donor buddies to cheat on their taxes.
Once again, Republicans would rather help their billionaire friends than hard-working Americans.
I'm so glad that my colleague next door agrees the Ways & Means Committee would be a proper place to scrutinize DOGE.
Lord knows both mine and Congressman Fitzgerald's constituents want to know what they’re doing with Wisconsinites sensitive personal information.
Americans want answers.
The Trump economy: Price raising tariffs, cuts to health care, rising inflation, and trillions in tax cuts for billionaires.
Trump serves his billionaire donors as he hurts ordinary Americans.

In case you needed more evidence Trump is not serious about lowering costs:
"The worsening outbreak comes as President Trump's administration makes sweeping cuts government staffing and research funding that threatens the country's ability to respond to bird flu..."
www.bbc.com/news/article...
In Trump’s first month since being sworn in, long-run inflation expectations have seen the longest month-over-month increase seen since May 2021.
Implementing sweeping tariffs that hurt consumers while promising tax cuts for billionaires — This is Trump’s America.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
