Today as we celebrate his legacy, I am holding the timeless words of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr close.
"This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy."
Heartbroken to learn of the passing of my dear friend Cecile Richards, a fierce and fearless leader in the fight for reproductive justice. Her unwavering dedication to healthcare equity changed countless lives.
Thank you, Joe.
I will NOT be attending the inauguration.
Tune in to WISN Up-Front tomorrow for this full interview.
I think this headline misspelled *Putin* as *Trump*

Voters wanted Trump to lower costs for their families, not the billionaires.

Nearly ONE-THIRD of children in rural Wisconsin rely on BadgerCare for health coverage.
Republicans plan to slash federal funding to pay for the MAGA Tax Scam for the ultra wealthy is a direct threat to the health of America's children.

Speaker Johnson continues to take his marching orders from Trump, ousting a highly respected Intelligence Chair because he refused to be Trump’s sycophant.
Clearly allegiance to Trump matters above anything else.

Disasters don’t discriminate, and neither should Congress. Every zip code in America deserves equal responses and the swift delivery of disaster aid—no strings attached. Lives and livelihoods are not bargaining chips.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bob Uecker. His presence extended beyond the broadcast booth, he was a symbol of Milwaukee’s spirit. His legacy will forever be intertwined with the Brewers and the city he loved so dearly.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Baseball.
H.R. 30 fails to protect domestic abuse survivors as it undermines the Violence Against Women Act.
When victims don’t come forward for fear of deportation, our communities are not safer.
This is just another attempt to fearmonger and scapegoat immigrants.

Congresswoman Gwen Moore Statement on GAZA Ceasefire Agreement
Hypocrisy is no vice for the GOP, but the most egregious example is that they only care about the national debt when it’s a Democrat in the White House.
Yet when in power, they treat the debt limit like a blank check to give TRILLIONS in tax cuts to billionaires & corporations.
Russel Vought violated the law for Trump. He'll do it again"
As Deputy OMB Director, OMB violated federal law by following Trump’s orders to withhold money Congress had appropriated.
Another unqualified lawless hack in the swamp.

How it started -------> How it's going
Project 2025 has ALWAYS been the MAGA playbook.
Russ Vought is an extremist who would be at the forefront of the Trump administration's attacks on vulnerable Americans by taking a chainsaw to programs like Medicaid, SNAP, and the ACA.
The GOP claim that the 199A tax break supports small businesses. But the truth is, genuine small businesses get very little benefit.
The GOP wants to continue this farce by purporting to help small businesses when really giving massive giveaways to the wealthy.
At its core, the GOP tax policies are about one thing: ensuring the rich get richer. The Trump Tax Scam flowed directly to the pockets of the wealthiest Americans, leaving the rest of us to fight for crumbs. The TAX SCAM 2.0 won't do anything differently.
Trump's DOD pick wants to *RESTORE* the names of military bases formerly named for CONFEDERATE GENERALS.
It couldn't be more clear he is unfit to lead.
We need military leadership focused on the future, not determined to take us backward.
