I will continue fighting alongside @housedemocrats.bsky.social to protect every American’s fundamental right to vote.
61 years ago, the Voting Rights Act became law, but the fight to protect the freedom to vote continues today. Trump and MAGA extremists are working to undermine our democracy, rig our elections, and cling to power at the expense of the American people. We cannot let them turn back the clock.

The Trump Administration has already stripped millions of Americans of health care & food assistance. Now they're coming for Head Start–a life-changing program that has helped more than 40 million children & families access early education, nutritious meals, health care & critical family support.
I was proud to visit SF's On Lok Senior Center to hear about the great services they provide to seniors in the community. Funded by Medicare and Medi-Cal, programs like theirs reflect exactly why I fight to protect public healthcare in Congress.
My heart goes out to all the individuals and families who lost their homes and belongings, as well as the firefighters who were injured. Wishing the entire community strength and resilience during this challenging time.
No one should become paralyzed or lose their life because of a drug that is legally available for consumer purchase. That's why I introduced the Nitrous Oxide Safety Act-- to help prevent these tragedies and protect others from the devastating consequences of nitrous oxide addiction.
Driverless vehicles have the potential to transform road safety, but the technology is still evolving. Strong oversight is essential to prevent unnecessary traffic delays and ensure emergency responders can reach people quickly during a crisis.
While Trump continues to put billionaires ahead of working families, I'm fighting to strengthen these vital programs and ensure affordable, quality health care for every American.
61 years ago today, Medicare & Medicaid were signed into law, expanding access to health care for millions. Despite promises to protect Medicare, Trump & Republicans cut nearly $1 trillion from Medicaid, kicking 10 million Americans off the program while funding tax breaks for his wealthy friends.
