Republicans are staying silent while preparing to vote for deep Medicaid cuts—hurting millions.
But there’s still time. They can choose to do the right thing.
I’m standing with my @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues to fight back—and make sure the people we represent are heard.

I won’t bore you with the procedural, wonky DC issue at hand here.
I’ll keep it simple:
@housedemocrats.bsky.social want to preserve and enhance Medicaid and SNAP for Americans.
House GOP wants to pass the LARGEST cuts to both programs in our country’s history.
Republicans know there are problems with this bill, but they're blindly going full steam ahead.
I went to the Rules Committee last night to sound the 🚨 and call them out.
[8:40 PM]
It’s the 11th hour but I won’t stop fighting for the things we should all be united on like access to healthcare and clean air for our children.
House Republicans can continue to stand in the way but House Democrats will keep fighting for ALL of our constituents.
[8:20 PM]
We can only make America great if we put our great people first.
This Republican bill fails to do that.
But @housedemocrats.bsky.social will never stop fighting for you.

Trump to all Senate and House Republicans when making their "demands" on this disastrous bill:
In NJ, we take care of our own🤝
So why would anyone vote for a bill that takes healthcare & food assistance away from our neighbors?🤔
For those in the NJ del who were a yes, this is the last chance to ask yourself: What would Springsteen do?
Do the right thing and vote NO on this disastrous bill.
On my way back to Washington to vote against Republicans' disastrous bill.
Why would anyone vote for it?
No spin can hide the fact that this bill will hurt people.
There’s only one real choice for every member of Congress - vote NO!
This is a step backwards. We can do better. Democrats stand united against this disastrous bill as it heads back to the House for a vote.
🚨 The Senate just passed a bill that cuts health care for millions of Americans, adds trillions to our debt, and hands massive tax breaks to the top 0.01%—all without easing the burden on working families.
As we close out #ImmigrantHeritageMonth in Hudson County & beyond, it is vital that we celebrate and uplift everyone's traditions and spirit.

📢 Our Caribbean-American community adds so much to the diverse culture here in the 8th.
Having seen Alzheimer's impact firsthand, I know how vital federal support is for research and family care.
This #AlzheimerAwarenessMonth, I was grateful to meet with NJ leaders from @alzassociation.bsky.social to discuss our shared goals.
Excited to see my friend @norcross.house.gov back in DC—and ready to keep fighting for New Jersey families alongside him. 💪
While Republicans work to take healthcare away from over 14 million Americans, we will keep pushing for affordable, high-quality care for all—together.
📍Hoboken to stand with our refugee and immigrant communities.
📢 In the face of cruelty, we choose unity, hope, and a future that welcomes those in need as this country has done for so many before us.
Our fight for dignity & justice continues.
It’s a giveaway to the top 0.01%—on the backs of the majority of Americans.
🚨Senate Republicans are caving to Trump’s pressure—here’s what their disastrous bill does:
☑️ Slashes Medicaid & health coverage for almost 12 million people
☑️ Adds nearly $4T to our national debt
☑️ Hands tax breaks to those who need it the least
☑️ Does nothing to lower costs for working families
All to give massive tax breaks to the top 0.01%.
This isn’t helping working families—it’s straight up robbing them & their family of a fair future.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social stand united against this disastrous bill.
This isn’t what standing up for working families looks like—it’s a handout to the ultra-rich & a hit on hardworking families.
Senate Republicans’ bill gives the richest Americans more tax breaks—while cutting health care, food assistance, & so many more programs individuals rely on.
As always, brave until they cave…
