Donald Trump is in the “hall of fame” for profiting off the presidency.

In our meeting last week, Association of American Cancer Institutes and American Association of Cancer Researchers representatives from Brown reiterated just how big a setback Trump’s cuts to NIH and the National Cancer Institute will be in the fight for a cure. #StopTheCuts
I led 152 colleagues in demanding Trump stop funding cuts for lifesaving NIH research.
For Memorial Day, I joined the Gold Star families of the 29 Rhode Islanders killed in the Global War on Terror at the Operation Stand Down Heroes Memorial at Fort Adams in Newport.
I was honored to participate to commemorate the courage, service, and sacrifice of the fallen.
Honored to recognize Mr. Gray’s dedicated service at his centennial celebration.
Happy 100th birthday to Lincoln’s Robert William Gray! 🎂🎉🥳
From joining the Army in 1943 & fighting in the Battle of the Bulge — receiving two Purple Hearts & a Bronze Star — to installing phone service on Block Island, what a life!
Always invigorated after talking to the next generation of Rhode Island leaders. Keep up the good work and stay engaged!
Got some thoughtful questions from the 11th grade AP U.S. History class at E-Cubed Academy in Providence yesterday about how our federal government works and my role in representing them in Congress.
These cuts have a real cost and I’m fighting them every step of the way.
Trump’s budget cuts are devastating community organizations in Rhode Island that provide job training, immigration services, and so much more.
I spoke with an adult learner today at the Genesis Center today who will be in the last class of medical assistants, because funding has dried up.
Joined @repcasar.bsky.social and @chrismurphyct.bsky.social leading colleagues in calling for a review of the State Department encouraging countries facing Trump's volatile tariffs to purchase Elon Musk's Starlink.
Enriching Elon should play no part in our trade policy.
Grateful to spend time at Leon Mathieu Senior Center — an amazing resource for older Rhode Islanders in Pawtucket. Thanks to a new mural & outdoor area it will do even more for seniors!
Today 4th and 5th graders at Hampden Meadows School in Barrington taught me about their 6Cs: communication, critical thinking, collaboration, character, citizenship & creativity.
Winners of their essay contest on citizenship gave me great faith in these future leaders!
As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, I am committed to supporting our trans-Atlantic partners and pushing back against Trump’s schoolyard bullying.
Trump’s erratic tariff threats on our partners in the EU imperil our relationship with some of our strongest allies, and do nothing to help American workers, small businesses, or families struggling with rising costs.
Congratulations to the over 200 Rhode Island high school seniors signing their conditional job offers with ElectricBoat today!
Through building the submarines of tomorrow, these young Rhode Islanders are investing in their futures while strengthening our national security and Blue Economy. ⚓️
My statement on Republicans' big, bad bill for billionaires ⤵️
I co-led a fix to this bad provision with Rep Thompson to try and keep limitations on purchasing silencers. Republicans voted it down. Watch my testimony here ⬇️
Not only does this Republican bill take from the poorest 10% to give to the top 10%, but it also makes gun silencers cheaper, worsening the impact of gun violence.
