The brave survivors deserve accountability and justice.
I’m grateful to those who’ve come forward to bring this unthinkable trauma to the light. I will continue to support efforts to promote transparency, protect children, and ensure this never happens again.

🚨U.S. State Department Guidance for Citizens Stuck in the Middle East🚨
U.S. citizens should depart the region immediately if able. U.S. embassies are suspending routine services, and the U.S. government is not currently organizing evacuation flights.
Instead of lowering costs for Rhode Islanders, Trump is spending billions bombing Iran.
There was no vote in Congress, no clear objective, and no day-after plan.
I’m voting YES on the War Powers Resolution to stop this madness. Every member of Congress should do the same.
Trump’s war of choice has become a war of multiple choice.
His rationale keeps shifting. The American people deserve a clear plan — and a say.
I’m voting YES for a War Powers Resolution to check this unauthorized action.
War isn’t one man’s decision.
Trump doesn't have a plan for Iran & American service members are paying the price.
He hasn't even ruled out putting American troops on the ground.
Americans want lower grocery prices, not another forever war.
Congress must vote now to stop this action.
I mourn the three U.S. service members killed, and my thoughts are with those wounded, during the military operations in Iran.
Military action has consequences.
Let us honor the sacrifices of these brave and patriotic Americans with clarity on the path ahead.
My statement on Trump's strikes on Iran.
Met with RI physicians from the American Medical Association to discuss protecting health care funding and strengthening our physician workforce.
I’m committed to supporting health care workers, repealing Trump’s $1 trillion in health care cuts, and keeping Rhode Islanders healthy and safe.
Heard from #RI01 Head Start teachers this week that more students are coming to school hungry & teachers are struggling to make ends meet.
I’m fighting to protect Head Start, restore SNAP, make sure no child goes hungry & ensure our early childhood educators are paid fairly.
Proud to receive a 100% from @lcv.org for championing policies to protect people & our planet in 2025.
While Trump empowers polluters & rolls back investments, I’ll keep fighting to:
🌎Advance climate action
⚡Support clean energy
🌊Safeguard the Ocean State for future generations.
Very excited that team Ghana will be based in Rhode Island at Bryant University for the 2026 FIFA World Cup!
As a proud Ghanaian-American and lifelong RI’er, grateful to “pitch” in to secure this win for our state.
Let’s go Rhody! #WorldCup2026
We need answers about Kash Patel's leadership (or lack thereof) of the Brown University shooting investigation. My full statement here.
Led my House colleagues in a moment of silence to honor the victims of last week’s horrific shooting at a high school hockey game in Pawtucket.
As our community works to heal from yet another senseless act of violence, we must stand together and push for the safety we deserve.
What you didn’t hear in the State of the Union tonight is that Trump’s policies have made millions sicker, poorer & hungrier.
I’ll keep working to actually strengthen our union because you deserve better.
President Trump’s tirade filled with falsehoods might be over, but his damage continues across our country.
We must keep fighting to stop Trump’s chaos, cruelty, and high costs to strengthen our union for all.
