The American people didn't ask for the war in Iran, yet they are paying the price.
Health care costs and grocery prices were already skyrocketing, and now the national average for gas is nearing $4 per gallon—and climbing.
This is the reality of Trump's "Golden Age."

Republicans fired 27% of the IRS workforce—now, the refunds of 1.4 million Americans are being held hostage.
The GOP delivered more headaches and fewer resources, not efficiency.

It’s another day of Republicans pretending it’s business as usual while Americans struggle with the very crises they helped create.

My full statement on 16 years of the Affordable Care Act: democrats-waysandmeans.house.gov/media-center...
16 years ago, Democrats made history and showed what’s possible when you invest in people.
16 years later, Republicans made history with the largest cut to health care.
Dems believe families should never have to choose between rent or their doctor. Our fight won’t waver until that’s a reality.
Antisemitism has no place in America, and no one should ever have to fear for their safety because of their faith. We must confront antisemitism and stand firmly with our Jewish neighbors.
I am horrified by the antisemitic attack that took place in West Bloomfield, Michigan. My heart goes out to the Temple Israel community and Jewish communities around the world that are reeling from yet another act of senseless violence.
With this funding, HOPE will be able to further its mission of providing hands-on learning in the arts, expanding access to creative education and mentorship for students across western Mass.

A great day of celebrating our young people and investments that will create valuable opportunities for their future.
I was proud to partner with @markey.senate.gov and @warren.senate.gov to deliver $5 million for the HOPE Center for the Arts.
Here's what we know:
• A personal thumb drive

• “God-level” security access
Here's what we don’t know:
• Everything else.
That’s why this demands an immediate, full investigation.
Workers and families across Massachusetts and the country were promised lower prices on Day 1.
Over 400 days later, prices are up and the job market is shrinking.
Democrats refuse to join Republicans in settling for this failure. The American people deserve better.
Democrats will fight for an economy that moves forwards, not backwards. My full statement here:
Republicans have ignored the red flags of Trump’s limping economy for months.
Now, the American people are paying the price of a shrinking job market spurred by Trump’s illegal tariff scheme.
Tonight, I voted to pass the War Powers Resolution and force the President to make his case in plain view of the American people.
Unfortunately, congressional Republicans continued to demonstrate their subservience to the President, rubber-stamping a war the American people do not want.
This is long overdue.
However, this doesn't change the fact that DHS needs serious reforms, & impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens need to be conducted.
We must defend the rule of law & the basic civil liberties that define our democracy.

My statement on the Trump Administration's strikes on Iran: neal.house.gov/2026/02/28/n...
After cutting Medicaid and Medicare and refusing to extend the ACA enhanced credits, President Trump is now proposing changes that would increase your deductibles.
If they can cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans, they can make health care more affordable.
