I stood with my Democratic colleagues today to demand action. Republicans control Congress, yet they’ve skipped town while pushing a budget that cuts Affordable Care Act tax credits and raises healthcare costs. We’re fighting to keep the government open and protect affordable healthcare.
Political violence is never acceptable. In a democracy, disagreements should be resolved through debate, compromise, and at the ballot box, not violence. I strongly condemn this threat made toward Congresswoman Jayapal. newrepublic.com/post/201016/...
This starts with access to good, affordable healthcare. Thats why I voted against the Big Ugly Law that cuts access to healthcare for millions of Americans. If we are going to fight Cardiovascular disease, access to healthcare is a must.
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide. On World Heart Day, we’re reminded of the importance of prevention, treatment, and expanding access to quality healthcare so we can all live healthier, longer lives.
When disaster strikes, families expect their government to act. Instead, Trump’s DHS and FEMA failed. In Texas, 130 lives were lost while help was delayed for 72 hours. I am calling for Secretary Noem and Acting Secretary Richardson to be fired. Lives are at stake.
The government will run out of funding on Sept. 30. Republicans control Congress, and Trump is refusing to meet with Democrats as the shutdown deadline approaches. South Jersey deserves better than a dysfunctional Republican government. www.npr.org/2025/09/23/g...
I’m outraged by the illegal release of @repsherrill.bsky.social full military record, which included sensitive information like her Social Security number and home address. This isn’t just a violation of her privacy, it’s an attack on all veterans who honorably served this country.
BREAKING: Records linked to Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill's military service, including sensitive personal information, were illegally released today as part of a smear campaign against a veteran who honorably served our country.
Last week, I had the chance to sit down with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to discuss ways to strengthen resources for military families whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We owe it to them to honor that sacrifice with action, care, & lasting support.
A decade ago, Camden City had one of the highest homicide rates in North America. This summer, there were none. That progress shows what’s possible when you invest in community policing, work hand-in-hand with the community, and give officers the training and equipment they need to keep people safe.
Diversity is our strength. Last week, we recognized the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans at Camden County’s Hispanic Heritage Month awards. Congratulations to the honorees and thank you for your leadership and service to our communities.
The disease of addiction has touched millions of lives, but recovery is possible when care is accessible. My Modernizing Opioid Treatment Access Act will bring treatment into the 21st century and help more Americans get the care they need.
Constructed in 1730, this historical landmark is known for its pivotal role in the transition from colony to state. Do you know #WhereInSouthJersey you can find this New Jersey first state-owned historic site?
