As I said during Trump’s second impeachment trial, for centuries we accepted the peaceful transfer of power as fact. 5 years ago, that changed, when our Capitol — and our republic — were attacked.

Our first 2 town halls of 2026 are in the books! Grateful for the thoughtful conversations and the chance to hear directly from folks in Georgetown & Walden over the weekend. Colorado's 2nd District is nearly 12,000 square miles — and no matter how far, we'll keep showing up in every corner!

It’s only January 2nd — but we’ve already completed our 1st town hall of the year! Many thanks to all the folks across Jackson County who attended our town hall in Walden today and made your voices heard. Next stop — Clear Creek County!

When you represent a district larger than 8 states, you learn early-on how important it is to show up in every community. Grateful to start the New Year visiting with folks in Cowdrey and Walden this morning. Onwards!
Trump’s actions are blatantly unconstitutional. There is no dispute that Maduro is a brutal dictator — but only Congress has the power to declare war. If Congress does not begin reasserting itself — immediately — our constitutional order will be permanently transformed.

Happy New Year! 🎉 To kick-off 2026, we’re hosting our 1st town hall of the year TOMORROW — in Jackson County!  Join us in Walden to hear about our work for Colorado’s 2nd District and ask questions, share ideas and be part of our community-wide conversation. bit.ly/4pmyDz0

We held 17 public town halls in 2025 in communities across Northwest Colorado — small and large, rural and suburban, conservative and liberal — to hear directly from Coloradans. And 2026 will be no different! We'll keep showing up — each and everyday.

Four years ago, the Marshall Fire — the most destructive in our state’s history — devastated neighborhoods across our district. Grateful to join constituents and first responders in Louisville today, as we continue to support the recovery efforts every step of the way. 🙏🏾

🚨 ICYMI: Earlier this month, @naturalresources.bsky.social Subcommittee on Federal Lands held a hearing on my legislation, the Wildfire Risk Evaluation Act. Grateful to our local partners in Grand County & across the Western Slope for helping us get this bill across the finish line! 🏔️🏔️🏔️

Healthcare subsidies for millions of Americans will expire in less than 72 hours. Instead of acting, House Republicans spent the last few weeks pushing a plan that would kick over 100,000 people off their health care each year. Shameful.

It was a privilege to honor outstanding volunteers, educators, and citizens across Colorado’s 2nd Congressional District at our annual service awards ceremony earlier this month. Grateful for their dedication to improving our community, each and everyday!
