"Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and immoral.” As Republicans cut taxes for billionaires while refusing to lower health care costs for working families, it is clear Martin Luther King Jr.’s words ring true today.
The Trump administration wants Americans to feel powerless and hopeless. We must reject that sentiment. Let’s continue to work together to lift our voices and protect our democracy!
Health insurance premiums for countless small business owners & families across Colorado are set to triple — unless Congress acts. Republicans must end their 4 week vacation & re-open the House!

Some House Republicans are breaking ranks — and it isn’t rocket science as to why: Costs are up, rural hospitals are closing, and Speaker Johnson refuses to end week four of their vacation while the government remains shut down. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Steve Bannon reportedly compared the Republican-controlled Congress to the Russian Duma. Republicans have debased the Article I branch of our government. It should offend every American.

Just landed back in Washington D.C. Republicans have been on paid vacation for the last 4 weeks, and the government has been shut down for 14 days — yet they refuse to come back to work. My offices will remain open in Colorado & DC — because we work for YOU!

Neguse: "What Trump is attempting to do is create a perception that he has all the power & create a sense of hopelessness or helplessness in the public. We've gotta resist the temptation. He's electorally unpopular. In fact, the most unpopular POTUS at this juncture than any modern POTUS in history"

Grateful to everyone who came by on Friday to our “Congress on Your Corner” at CU-Boulder. Whether on main streets, at bus stations and farmers markets, or on college campuses — the best part of my job is speaking directly with folks in Colorado’s 2nd District!

Grateful for the opportunity to join @colorado.gov in thanking law enforcement who responded to the devastating fire at Caribou Village & visiting with impacted constituents. Nederland is a resilient community, and we’ll support them in their recovery every step of the way.

House Republicans described Trump’s tariffs as “short term pain” — and now working families across our country are footing the bill, paying increased costs for groceries, consumer goods & more.
The Republicans who cut Medicaid & are refusing to lower health care costs for working families are the same politicians who gave $40 million of taxpayer dollars to President Trump to build a “garden of heroes.” Seriously.
