Over the past few weeks, we: 📍Visited with folks in 11 counties; 📍Held events in 20 cities across Northwest Colorado; and 📍 Held our 15th public town hall — more than most Members of Congress in the country. We’ll keep showing up — in communities large and small! 🏔️🏔️🏔️
Recent reports indicate worsening working conditions for U.S. Forest Service wildland firefighters — and as Ranking Member of the Federal Lands Subcommittee, I am leading my colleagues in demanding answers. Read our letter to the Chief of the Forest Service below 👇🏾
Groceries, healthcare, consumer goods — EVERYTHING is becoming more expensive due to the Trump administration’s reckless policies. House Republicans’ response? More coal mining. Seriously.

"Using the CRA to overturn an RMP would also ban the agency from issuing any resource management plan like it. That is reckless." @neguse.house.gov called out the GOP's attempts to permanently override public lands plans with no input from impacted local and Tribal communities 👇
As the Trump administration increases costs on American families, House Republicans continue to spend virtually every moment talking about their favorite subject — Joe Biden. ENOUGH.

Neguse: Facts matter. Under President Trump, Americans are paying more for their electricity than ever before. So spare us lectures about energy costs as Republicans preside over an economy over which everything is getting more expensive.
Ed’s story embodies courage and perseverance, and I’m honored to join @bennet.senate.gov and @hickenlooper.senate.gov in an effort to award him the Congressional Gold Medal.
As the Trump administration attempts to rewrite American history, it is more important than ever to honor our nation’s heroes —including Colorado’s Ed Dwight, chosen by President Kennedy to be America’s first Black astronaut in 1961.
Let’s be clear — this is a blatant and brazen act of political retribution, nothing more. Trump’s reckless decision to move Space Command headquarters out of Colorado will undermine our national security. Shameful. apnews.com/article/spac...
As whistleblowers have made clear, the Trump Administration has significantly weakened federal disaster preparedness and response — putting communities across Colorado and beyond at risk. Proud to join ‪@repcasar.bsky.social in introducing legislation to REVERSE course.
Happy Labor Day to all! 🇺🇸 Today, we honor the American workers who fought to secure living wages, quality health care, and retirement benefits— and redouble our efforts to secure the same for working people across our country.

Grateful for the opportunity to help serve meals yesterday at Coal Creek Meals on Wheels, which delivers more than 70,000 meals every year to folks in Erie, Lafayette and across Boulder County. Many thanks for letting me come by & lend a hand!

🚨🚨 TARIFF NEWS Last month, I led @housedemocrats.bsky.social Litigation Task Force in filing an amicus brief challenging President Trump’s reckless tariffs. Today’s ruling is a major victory for Americans and small businesses struggling with rising costs due to this administration. Onwards!
The Rules committee is — finally — scheduled to reconvene next week. For those unfamiliar with the committee, a few highlights below . . . ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I’m proud to have hosted 15 public, in-person town halls this year. Republicans in Colorado have held NONE. All are welcome & there are no pre-screened questions — just open forums with folks from communities large and small. And I’ll keep showing up! www.coloradopolitics.com/2025/08/22/q...
