The Trump administration wants to eviscerate NOAA, CIRA, CIRES and other vital science agencies & institutes. This is a five-alarm fire — for our state, and for scientific research nationally. We must defeat this terrible proposal.
I was proud to secure funding for the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority’s new health services center — and grateful to join the ribbon-cutting this morning! 🚒🚒🚒
The Trump administration has proposed devastating cuts to NOAA, including the potential closure of multiple cooperative institutes in Colorado. Every American should oppose this reckless proposal — and we are building a coalition of lawmakers to do everything we can to defeat it. 👇🏾 👇🏾 👇🏾
Had a great time visiting with constituents at Tube To Work Day this morning — and had some extra help kicking off the event from our 6-year-old daughter Natalie!
During the Marshall Fire, the Enclave & Sunflower parks in Louisville were both heavily damaged. How did our community respond? The Colorado way — rolling up our sleeves and working together to rebuild. Grateful to join the park re-openings this morning!
🚨 Happening soon! #TeamNeguse will be in Erie on July 18th for Mobile Office Hours — we hope folks in Weld & Boulder counties will swing by, our team is ready to assist with federal casework, including the IRS, Social Security, VA, & more! Schedule your appointment here: bit.ly/4eIhewU
President Trump's tariffs are unconstitutional — which is why we successfully legally challenged his so-called "Liberation Day" policies. As Litigation Task Force Chair, proud to lead another effort today in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
I was moved beyond words at today’s memorial service for Karen Diamond. She was an incredible member of our community, who will be remembered by all for her “unwavering generosity, sweetness, laughter, selflessness and love.” May her memory be a blessing. www.dailycamera.com/obituaries/k...
Grateful our bill to support water access for Eagle County passed out of committee last week. Earlier this year, my office was recognized as the 2nd-most effective in the entire U.S. House of Representatives — and we will keep pressing forward! www.coloradopolitics.com/colorado-in-...
As Chair of the Litigation Task Force, grateful to lead an effort with @warren.senate.gov to support the NAACP’s lawsuit against the Trump administration to stop the dismantling of the Department of Education. The American people will prevail. abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics...
For years, I have led the effort to BAN stock-trading by Members of Congress. Below is Exhibit A as to why. We must ban this practice once and for all!
At 2:00am, I lodged repeated objections to Republican’s blatant procedural abuses. They refused to consider them. Their cruel budget bill will have devastating consequences for our country — but just as shameful is their debasing of the House of Representatives. www.mediaite.com/media/news/d...
🚨The Trump Administration is proposing devastating cuts to key national agencies in Colorado that play a vital role in protecting our country, including through cutting-edge research on wildfires, droughts, and more. Senator Bennet and I are fighting back against the attacks on NOAA, CIRES & CIRA 👇🏾
House Republicans have jammed through their reckless and disastrous budget bill. It will add trillions to the deficit, slash health care for countless Coloradans, and jeopardize rural hospitals across our state. My full statement below.
Last night, House Republicans held the longest continuous roll-call vote in the history of the U.S. Congress. All so that they can give tax breaks to billionaires and slash food assistance for millions of Americans. Shameful!
