Given his history of using his position to target the President’s perceived political enemies, and his complete lack of national security experience, Mr. Pulte is completely unsuitable for this vital role.
President Trump's appointment of Bill Pulte as Acting Director of National Intelligence should concern every American. The intelligence community is supposed to provide accurate and objective intelligence, free of any political interference.
Day 2 at the Mackinac Policy Conference! Great to hit the airwaves again on media row. Talking about how we come together to strengthen the future of our state.
As we spend this day with family and friends, we must all take a moment to reflect on the significance that Memorial Day holds.
This is reality for people in our state and across the country. Meanwhile, President Trump said he doesn’t even think about Americans' financial situation.

Here are a few of the “partisan” amendments Republicans rejected:
-Requiring ICE agents to be clearly identified
-Training ICE agents to deescalate interactions with the public
-Medical care for children detained by ICE
-Requiring a judicial warrant before entering a home
I'm proud to have known him as a friend, a colleague, and a mentor. Colleen and I are thinking of Jim and his family as they grieve his loss.
Barney Frank was one of the sharpest, most dedicated lawmakers I’ve ever worked with. Under his leadership, we passed the historic Dodd-Frank bill, which made comprehensive reforms to Wall Street after the 2008 financial crisis.
As the son of a WWII veteran and a former Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, I have a deep admiration and appreciation for the men and woman serving in uniform. This Armed Forces Day, and every day, my thoughts are with them as they sacrifice so much to keep us safe and secure.
From fuel to fertilizer, nearly everything is more expensive for Michigan farmers this planting season. The American people don't want to pay more for a war that we still don’t fully know why we are in.

Go Pistons! Let’s get the W on our home court!
Michiganders are paying the price of Trump’s war with Iran every time they fill up their tank.
Happy to see Sanford Lake is back and within legal level for the first time since 2020. To the families, business owners, and volunteers who never stopped fighting for this community - enjoy the summer! #SanfordStrong

I was proud to help secure $15 million in funding for the Port of Monroe. This investment will help the Port make necessary dock upgrades to improve operations and support key Michigan supply chains.

Michiganders continue to pay the price at the gas pump for President Trump’s war with Iran. It’s been over 60 days, and Congress and the American people have yet to hear a strategy for peace and how we will stop these rising costs.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the teachers I’ve had in my life, including my dad, a proud public school teacher for many years.
This National Teacher Day, I'm sending my sincerest thank you to all the educators who go above and beyond for our students.
This International Firefighters’ Day, I’d like to applaud the heroism that firefighters display in Michigan and across the country. That’s why I’ve always fought to strengthen federal grant programs that make sure fire departments have enough staff and up-to-date safety equipment and resources.
Game time! Let’s go Pistons!
As the proud son of an SEIU steward and NEA teacher, I firmly believe we must protect all workers’ right to bargain for fair wages, better benefits, and safe workplaces. This International Workers’ Day, and every day, I’m proud to stand with Michigan workers!
