While borrowers and families struggle with the cost of living, Trump just ended the most affordable student loan repayment plan in history.
Republicans don't care about affordability and they never have.
The shame and sham of it all.

Proud to work with @pressley.house.gov in demanding transparency and oversight.
With the help of community and legal advocates, seven of our neighbors are home with their families - but we won’t stop fighting until all our neighbors are released.
And we’ll hold this lawless administration accountable every step of the way.
A daughter abducted alongside her mom and uncle, worrying about her elderly grandma back home.
Four of these workers spent their birthdays sleeping on cold floors.
But instead of allowing this cruelty defeat us, the Allston community rose in defense of its neighbors.
I met with the seven freed workers who shared harrowing testimony of their experiences & the inhumane treatment they endured while detained.
A 67-year-old man whose medications were withheld for days.
A diabetic mother given improper nourishment that worsened her condition.
It has been over 30 days since ICE descended on an Allston neighborhood car wash & abducted nine of our neighbors.
Hector, Vanessa, Felicita, Clarisa, Heidy, Dairo, Pablo, Jose, & Yuli.
Pregnant women are being detained & denied access to essential reproductive care.
And the ability to raise families is threatened by Trump's unlawful deportation campaign.
Our resolution affirms that nobody should be policed, and everyone should be met with the humanity & dignity they deserve.
We cannot allow AI to be the latest chapter in America’s history of exploiting marginalized people.
That's why I'm joining @repyvetteclarke.bsky.social and @markey.senate.gov on a bill to help protect our civil rights and liberties in the age of AI.

It's long past time we prioritize affordability, accessibility, & sustainability in public transportation — including through fare-free transit.
That's why I'm leading my colleagues demanding Congress do just that in the next surface transportation bill.
This investment is meaningful—but economic justice cannot and must not depend on the benevolence of billionaires.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent must issue equitable guidance to ensure Trump Accounts uplift our most vulnerable families and not leave these children behind.
Healthcare is not a nice-to-have, it's a must-have.
Democrats are united in extending ACA tax credits that have been a lifeline for families.
Now we just need four Republicans of conscience to join us and help save healthcare for millions of people.
In communities like Allston, rogue, masked agents are terrorizing our immigrant neighbors—glorified bullies masquerading as public servants.
They're abducting workers, violating civil rights, & ripping families apart.
We must protect our communities and reject this cruelty at every turn.

That’s why today, I’m proud to stand with @markey.senate.gov, @repyvetteclarke.bsky.social, @repsummerlee.bsky.social, and @pressley.house.gov to introduce the AI Civil Rights Act.

I'm proud to join @markey.senate.gov, @repyvetteclarke.bsky.social, @jayapal.house.gov, and @pressley.house.gov in reintroducing the AI Civil Rights Act to make sure AI is fair and accountable to the people.
Unlike federal employees, federal *contractors* did not receive backpay when the government reopened.
I'm still fighting to make sure they do.
This isn't just a matter of fairness—it's about stability, dignity, & justice.
My district has already lost two hospitals.
But Trump & Republicans' Big Betrayal Bill is threatening lives, care, and causing more hospitals to close.
Millions of people still lack access to HIV treatment & prevention services that save lives.
And Trump's cuts to these programs have only deepened the hurt.
On World AIDS Day, we recommit to creating a future free from stigma & #EndAIDS once & for all.
Black women are powerful. I’m grateful for leaders like Dr. B.
Her mentorship & programming have helped so many Black women discover their why.
I was proud to join her for a fireside chat that centered the voices of powerful women leaders.
