This investment is meaningful—but economic justice cannot and must not depend on the benevolence of billionaires. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent must issue equitable guidance to ensure Trump Accounts uplift our most vulnerable families and not leave these children behind.
Breaking News: Michael and Susan Dell said they would put $250 in individual investment accounts for 25 million American children, expanding the reach of soon-to-be-created "Trump accounts."
Healthcare is not a nice-to-have, it's a must-have. Democrats are united in extending ACA tax credits that have been a lifeline for families. Now we just need four Republicans of conscience to join us and help save healthcare for millions of people.
BREAKING: All House Democrats have signed our discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits. That makes 214. We can protect health care and lower costs — if only 4 Republicans will join us.
In communities like Allston, rogue, masked agents are terrorizing our immigrant neighbors—glorified bullies masquerading as public servants. They're abducting workers, violating civil rights, & ripping families apart. We must protect our communities and reject this cruelty at every turn.
Unlike federal employees, federal *contractors* did not receive backpay when the government reopened. I'm still fighting to make sure they do. This isn't just a matter of fairness—it's about stability, dignity, & justice.
Millions of people still lack access to HIV treatment & prevention services that save lives. And Trump's cuts to these programs have only deepened the hurt. On World AIDS Day, we recommit to creating a future free from stigma & #EndAIDS once & for all.
Black women are powerful. I’m grateful for leaders like Dr. B. Her mentorship & programming have helped so many Black women discover their why. I was proud to join her for a fireside chat that centered the voices of powerful women leaders.

The death of National Guard Specialist Sarah Beckstrom is a tragedy and devastating loss for all who knew her. I condemn her murder, along with the exploitation of this tragedy to further advance hate, bigotry, and anti-immigrant policy. We cannot treat trauma with more trauma.
UPDATE: After nine months of unjust detention in an Israeli prison, Mohammed has been released. I met with his loved ones earlier this year, and I can only imagine the joy and relief they must be feeling. Praying for his healing and recovery, after months of inhumane treatment.
Right now, Mohammed Ibrahim, a US citizen, is being held in an Israeli prison. His health is deteriorating. The circumstances are desperate. The United States must use every avenue available to secure the release of this Palestinian American child.

Donald Trump lied when he promised to lower costs. And as shoppers hit the stores today, they're seeing higher costs for the goods they want to purchase. His economic policies are failing us. Billionaires are wealthier than ever. And working people are footing the bill.
This Thanksgiving, I'm thinking of our neighbors with an empty seat at the dinner table. Those with loved ones abducted & deported from their families. Those we lost due to gun violence, mass incarceration, & more. A more just America is possible, if we fight for it.
Haiti is grappling with an unspeakable humanitarian crisis that is worsening daily. To deport 350,000 of our neighbors back there is unconscionable & could be a death sentence. The Trump Administration must reverse course and stop operating with cruel disregard for human life.
I’ve long championed Baby Bonds as an investment in our kids' future and a tool to close the wealth gap. When the Admin issues guidance on Trump Accounts, equity must be the goal. That’s why I’m calling on Secretary Scott Bessent to ensure our most vulnerable families aren't ignored.

Remember, this is not just about sticking it to Trump or seeing how Republicans voted. This about real people. I was in a meeting with Rep Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) today and she said the survivors told her “we are the Epstein Files and we want to be released.” THAT’S what this is about. 13/
CDFIs keep urban & rural communities afloat and help everyday people build wealth. When we protect CDFI deposits, we support housing, childcare, healthcare, & more for communities and small businesses. If Republicans cared about lowering costs & growing our economy, they'd stop attacking CDFIs.
The Republican govt shutdown is over, but Trump is still leaving our families in the cold. With over 150,000 households in MA dependent on LIHEAP to pay their home heating bills in the winter, I'm joining @trahan.house.gov & nearly 100 Dems demanding Trump release these funds NOW.
