Barbershops & salons are more than businesses – they're community hubs, spaces of mentorship, culture, & connection.
I joined State Senator Liz Miranda & Councilor Julia Mejia in Roxbury to hear directly from salon owners on the challenges they’re facing around licensing & workforce development.
Beautiful day in Everett with my friend State Senator Sal DiDomenico listening to local entrepreneurs.
Small businesses are the anchors of our community.
With higher costs, supply chain issues, & fear of destructive immigration enforcement, we’ll keep defending & fighting for them to thrive.

I joined @pressley.house.gov and @pettersen.house.gov, along with 100 of our colleagues in the House, demanding that you pressure Israel to allow aid and formula to babies at risk of starvation.

Secretary Rubio: Babies in Gaza are being killed by bombs and starvation. This is horrific.
Heed Rep. @pressley.house.gov & Rep. @pettersen.house.gov’s calls— it’s long past time for a ceasefire and a surge of humanitarian aid, especially baby formula.

As Israel starves babies in Gaza, this moment of manufactured crisis demands moral clarity & decisive action from the US.
I'm joining @pressley.house.gov & @pettersen.house.gov in calling on Sec. Rubio to facilitate the delivery of aid &
baby formula immediately.

The genocide in Gaza demands moral clarity & decisive action.
As infants die of starvation, we cannot look away.
I joined @pressley.house.gov and @pettersen.house.gov in demanding Secretary Rubio facilitate an end to the Israeli blockade & ensure that food & baby formula enter Gaza immediately.
Children should not fear going to school. Parents should not fear for their kids' lives when they kiss them goodbye.
I'm heartbroken for the victims, families, & community at Annunciation Catholic in Minnesota.
This pain is preventable. We must take action against gun violence.

No parent should hear their baby cry from hunger and be powerless to feed them. Yet in Gaza, infants are dying while baby formula sits blocked at the border.
Sec. Rubio must demand that Israel end the blockade and allow life-saving aid to reach families.
This is the same playbook Trump has used to criminalize immigrants and activists who center the dignity & humanity of all people.
Xóchitl must be released immediately and reunited with her family.
Catalina "Xóchitl" Santiago is a farmworker, DACA recipient, & beloved community organizer who helped undocumented immigrants get drivers licenses in Massachusetts.
She was unlawfully detained while boarding a flight for work & is being targeted for deportation.
Babies in Gaza deserve to grow up.
No child should cry out in hungry desperation. No child should endure the trauma of bombs overhead. No child should bury their loved ones.
Ceasefire now. Aid surge now. Offensive arms embargo now. Baby formula now.

I joined my colleague & fellow mom Rep. Pressley to demand Sec. Rubio take urgent action. While steps are being taken to get more aid into Gaza, the US, UN & Israel must prioritize baby formula. As a mom, I can’t fathom the desperation parents face, every minute counts.

It is unconscionable for baby formula to be sitting at the border of Gaza as newborns & infants die of starvation.
I joined @pressley.house.gov & @pettersen.house.gov in demanding Secretary Rubio facilitate aid and baby formula to enter Gaza.
This moment demands moral clarity and decisive action.
19,000 children have been killed in Gaza. Thousands more are at imminent risk of death by starvation.
Surging aid & baby formula to families in Gaza is critical.

Imagine a military blockade stands between you & the ability to feed your hungry baby.
That's the reality for parents in Gaza.
@pettersen.house.gov and I are leading 101 Members of Congress demanding Sec. Rubio pressure the Israeli govt to surge aid and formula to babies at risk of starvation.

On Friday night, I was thrilled to join my fellow @usprogressives.bsky.social @pressley.house.gov and @balint.house.gov at a Town Hall in Glens Falls to highlight the damaging impacts of the recently passed Republican budget and to present a more just, equitable vision for the future of our nation.
This is another baseless attack on a Black leader by the occupant of the White House desperate to distract from his failure to lower the cost of living.
We stand with Governor Cook, and her unlawful firing cannot be allowed to stand.
We need the full, unredacted Epstein files — AND a Congressional hearing so survivors voices are centered.
These are real people who were violated and robbed of their peace.
Justice delayed is justice denied, & we cannot allow Republicans to continue shielding predators.
TY @reppaultonko.bsky.social & @balint.house.gov for your partnership & for showing up for constituents.
Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik hasn’t held a town hall in years.
So we held one for her — to discuss how Republicans attacked Medicaid, slashed school lunch funding & made it harder to get essential healthcare.
