Donald Trump is trying to criminalize any person or organization he doesn’t agree with by labeling them as terrorists. This is an abuse of power & straight out of the fascist, authoritarian playbook. We're demanding answers & an end to Trump's attacks on political dissenters.

People in the #MA7 & nationwide rely on the vital contributions of nurses, social workers, teachers, & architects. Trump should not be diminishing their value. Amid a public service crisis caused by his funding cuts, we must bolster & protect these professions. TY @aft.org!

106 years ago today, the 19th Amendment was ratified and women were guaranteed the right to vote. We must continue the legacy of the suffragettes and those who fought hard for that right by pushing for the Equal Rights Amendment to become the law of the land.
ICE is separating families & traumatizing our neighbors who provide valuable contributions to our communities. Folks like Jose, Alexis, & Darwin — sons, fathers, & husbands who are loved & whose labor is valued. We must keep fighting for the freedom, dignity, & humanity of our immigrant neighbors.
Yet again, the Trump Administration is protecting corporations instead of consumers. Hiding this data about corporate misconduct will only make it harder to hold Wall Street and predatory companies accountable for ripping off our families. Shameful.

The $500K we delivered for 2Life Communities’ Brooke House Village Center is an investment in healthy aging. These transformative investments are what happens when we put those closest to the pain, closest to the power.
The disparities in this report are damning & unsurprising for the families who've experienced them for generations. We must enact bold policies that close the racial wealth gap. Like Baby Bonds, student debt cancellation, affordable housing, supporting minority-owned small businesses & more.
People are struggling under Trump's economic crisis & Black workers continue to be the hardest hit. If we want to see meaningful growth in our economy & communities, that means investing in our Black workers. That's why I'm pressing the Fed to address Black unemployment NOW.
The U.S. economy saw an unexpected decline in jobs during July, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday in a snapshot that showed a slowing employment picture. Read more: cnb.cx/4bCo6LY
We came to Plymouth to conduct oversight of a major detention facility in our state, check on our constituents, & demand accountability of ICE. The trauma experienced by families like Darwin's is a reminder of why we must abolish ICE, end qualified immunity, & stop their campaign of terror.

Everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in our literature. And with book bans on the rise nationwide, I'm proud that Massachusetts is protecting our freedom to read. Congress must follow suit and pass my Books Save Lives Act to confront book bans head-on.
While President Trump defunds education and censors ideas he disagrees with, Massachusetts is protecting your freedom to read.
Governor Healey and headlines about her signing the Freedom to Read Law.
We can't let Trump and ICE continue to rip apart families, violate our rights, and rob our communities of essential neighbors & workers. We must abolish ICE, end qualified immunity, and fight for the dignity & humanity of our immigrant neighbors.
Just left the Plymouth ICE facility after conducting an unannounced oversight visit—our right as members of Congress. We spoke with detainees like my constituent Darwin who have no criminal record and deserve to be home with their families.
