Global monitor IPC reported that the crisis in Gaza City is a famine — with over 500,000 people starving. We must get food aid safely into Gaza, we must shutdown the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, and we must restore UN oversight of aid operations. abcnews.go.com/Internationa...
Chicago needs funds for education, housing, and more—not a wannabe dictator.
Trump on DC: "We haven't had to bring in the regular military, which we're willing to do if we have to. And after we do this, we'll go to another location and we'll make it safe also ... Chicago is a mess. And we'll straighten that one out probably next"
🚨FUNDING FREEZE ALERT🚨 The Trump administration is freezing $300 MILLION in CDC grant funding. Without these funds, state and local governments will have to cut programs to fight smoking, epilepsy, and more. I’m proud to join over 35 fellow House Democrats in demanding these funds be released.
The world is now living under the Trump Doctrine: the United States will be tough until it’s not.

We can’t let Trump give up on helping a sovereign democratic country like Ukraine.
Climate change and invasive species are killing our fish and fishing businesses in Lake Michigan. My bill, the Great Lakes Fishery Research Reauthorization Act, will fund scientific research to stop these threats. @naturalresources.bsky.social
They also shared how Trump’s #tariffs could impact the costs of materials manufacturers like EJ Basler rely on. To keep our manufacturers in business, this tariff chaos has to end. (2/2)
I had the pleasure to go undercover at EJ Basler Co — a local manufacturer and machine shop right here in Schiller Park. Their team showed me how local manufacturers operate. (1/2) #UndercoverCongressman
Since the 1800s, #OakFlat in Arizona has been a protected sacred site to over nine indigenous tribes. Yet Trump wants to hand over this 2,400 acres of public land to private mining company Resolution Copper. Join @repstansbury.bsky.social and me and stand against this public lands sell off.

It's almost time for #BackToSchool! While the GOP is focusing on censoring LGBTQI+ content, dismantling the Dept of Education, and undermining Title IX, our members are fighting to ensure students can attend school free from discrimination, harassment, and censorship.
The Republican Back to School list: Censor textbooks; dismantle the Department of Education; undermine Title IX; keep kids from playing with their friends. I was honored to speak at this weekend’s Ukrainian Village Fest. We must remind our fellow Americans why we help Ukraine—to ensure peace and prosperity for Ukrainians, Ukrainian Americans, and all people. We can not let a tyrant like Putin takeover a sovereign democratic nation. Slava Ukraini🇺🇦
My team and I were glad to attend the 39th Ward's Back to School Resource Fair, hosted Ald. Samantha Nugent! We also enjoyed seeing Tim Russell from our local PBS station, WTTW. @wttw.bsky.social
Happy First Day of School, Chicago!✏️🍎🚌 Today kicked off the 2025-2026 academic year for Chicago Public Schools. I hope all students, teachers, and parents had a great first day back! #BacktoSchool
