Yesterday, I met with the eighth graders of St. James Arlington Heights outside the Capitol. I was impressed with their questions and curiosity, especially after their long trip in the DC heat!
I also asked the FAA Administrator about what the agency is doing to reduce plane noise.
As Vice-Chair of the Bipartisan Quiet Skies Caucus, I’ll continue to fight for decreasing this noise that plagues our neighbors surrounding O’Hare. @democrats-appropriations.house.gov
To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community, I’m with you 100%. We will get through this, together🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ #Pride
Today, I questioned Trump’s FAA Administrator on why key safety personnel are being forced out. Take a look.
Nonpartisan analysis shows Trump's Big Ugly Bill will add $2.4 TRILLION to the national debt.
Republicans don't care about fiscal responsibility.

June is also Men’s Health Month—a time to raise awareness about the physical and mental health challenges our boys and men face across the country. I'm going to continue to support men's health by fighting for increased access to education and healthcare.
Great conversation with Zac McCrary on the Pro Politics podcast! Listen in here. www.buzzsprout.com/1704139/epis...
The recent rise in antisemitic violence is unacceptable. I stand with my Jewish neighbors and reaffirm our collective responsibility to build a world where everyone can live without fear.
The NIH was this👌 close to finding a vaccine to fight #HIV—then Trump slashed their funding for this research.
HIV hurts all Americans, but this cut unfairly targets LGBTQI+ people. The cruelty is the point.

Extremists in Congress & the White House are working to dehumanize, belittle, & control LGBTQI+ families in their coordinated attacks against our community.
Our members are proud to be fighting for the rights & dignity of EVERY family. #LGBTQIFamiliesDay
Happy #Pride! As a proud Vice Chair of the Equality Caucus, I'm proud to defend LGBTQI+ rights and work toward a more equal future for everyone🏳️🌈 @equality.house.gov
Trump and RFK Jr want to decrease access to Head Start pre-K for over 125,000 low-income and military children in the Midwest, by closing five regional offices. I’m joining 25 other Democratic members in demanding why.
Over the weekend, an antisemitic attack injured attendees at a Colorado rally for Israeli hostages — right before the Shavuot holiday. My heart is with the victims, their families, and the greater Jewish community.
We must reject violence everywhere and condemn antisemitism in all forms.
Happy Shavuot to all those celebrating in Chicagoland!
The Supreme Court just allowed Trump to cancel TPS for 500,000 immigrants who are in this country legally and who fled civil wars and natural disasters. It’s just cruel.
The Trump administration just cancelled plans to create a vaccine against the bird flu. This disease kills our animals, makes eggs more expensive, and could harm humans.
Trump wants chaos, not solutions.

BREAKING: Asked about Medicaid and SNAP cuts killing people, Joni Ernst replied: “Well we all are going to die.”
This is the Republican health care agenda: indifference to the lives of working families.
We won’t stop fighting for care. #SaveMedicaid
Thank you to everyone who attended our Senior Resource Fair this morning! We shared the different services government offices and local organizations offer.
We even had time for a little ping pong. My game could use some work!
Our Senior Community Resource Fair is happening NOW in Des Plaines! Come stop by—we’ll be here till 12:30!
Great meeting with the Village of Mount Prospect team. We checked in on the construction of the Melas-Meadows Pedestrian Bridge—which my office was proud to help secure over $517,000 for last year!
