Providence Community Health Centers does a tremendous job connecting RIers with health care they need, when they need it. Helped kick off PCHC’s Central Health Center expansion to serve 3,000 more RIers. Proud to deliver a $500,000 federal earmark to advance this important project.
U.S. Senate voted 85-14 to pass 2025 Nat’l Defense Authorization Act. This bill strengthens America’s economic, industrial, & military might. It invests in our servicemembers, will help increase pay for uniformed personnel & civilian workers, and makes America safer & stronger.
The RIBridges cyberattack put the personal data of hundreds of thousands of RIers at risk. Along with the delegation, I’m urging fed gov’t agencies to coordinate efforts w/ the state to help keep participants enrolled in critical programs like Medicaid, SNAP, & TANF.
Supportive reentry works but there’s no one-size-fits-all system. OpenDoors helps offer RIers targeted support & hope for healthier lives. Proud to support this federal grant to help more women navigate reentry process & break cycle of recidivism.

The YWCA of Rhode Island is on a mission to help veterans experiencing homelessness. Today, with the support of $2.1 million in federal funds, we cut the ribbon on the Gateway Independence renovation project, providing 50 new rooms for local veterans in a supportive, healthy community.
