Health care costs are spiking, gas prices keep climbing, and grocery bill costs are growing under Donald Trump – even your favorite berries are becoming more expensive!
Nevada is home to incredible and diverse wildlife that are important to our Tribal communities and help sustain ecosystems in our state. I am proud to have secured federal funding to support the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe and the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California with their conservation efforts.
For the second time, the Senate sent the House of Representatives a bipartisan deal to fund critical parts of the Dept. of Homeland Security, ensure employees get paid, and end the Republican shutdown. And for the second time, House Republicans chose to prolong this shutdown.
Breaking News: The House took no action on the Senate’s bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security. The record agency shutdown will continue through at least Monday.
My thoughts are with these U.S. servicemembers, as well as with their families and loved ones. As search and rescue operations continue, our hope is that both crew members return safely.
Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet over the country, U.S. officials said on Friday. The fate of the plane’s crew was unclear, as American officials scrambled to mount a search and rescue operation before Iran could get to any survivors, officials said.
Washington Republicans kicked families off SNAP and made massive health care cuts, stretching Americans’ budgets to the limit. If that wasn’t bad enough, Nevadans are now paying the highest gas prices in the past four years. Hardworking families need relief.
Pam Bondi did everything she could to prevent the Epstein files from being made public while using the Department of Justice to go after Donald Trump’s political opponents. She did nothing to stand for the rule of law — instead shielding Trump from accountability. She won't be missed.
I’m introducing bipartisan legislation with @susielee.house.gov that will help fill gaps in our cybersecurity workforce and open the door to more good-paying jobs for Nevadans, regardless of whether or not they have a college degree.
One year ago, Donald Trump declared sweeping tariffs on his so-called “Liberation Day,” driving up costs for hardworking families and small businesses. When the Supreme Court found these tariffs illegal, he doubled down and imposed more.🧵
From my family to yours, I’m wishing everyone a meaningful and healthy Passover. Passover is a time to come together to remember the challenges we’ve overcome and celebrate hope with loved ones. Chag Pesach Sameach!
I’m proud my bill to rectify this injustice has advanced out of committee, and I will continue fighting until all of our veterans can access the benefits they deserve for their selfless service to this country.
Many veterans who served at the Nevada Test and Training Range were exposed to toxic radiation during their service and suffer from health challenges because of it – but they can’t access the same benefits as their Dept. of Energy civilian counterparts.
Gas prices are the highest they’ve been in four years – and Nevada is one of the states being hit the hardest. All while groceries and health care continue to get more expensive. Do you feel like you are better off?
The Constitution is clear: children born in the United States are citizens. It is critical that the Supreme Court upholds the Constitution and puts an end to Donald Trump’s attempt to revoke citizenship from children born in the United States.
Soaring gas prices are making Americans skip meals, miss prescriptions, and pay more for their grocery bills. Trump hasn’t done anything to address affordability, and the American people are paying the price.
If Trump restarts explosive nuclear testing in Nevada, the dangerous effects will be felt far beyond our state.    I’ll fight against any and all efforts by this Administration to resume this unnecessary and reckless testing.
