I am deeply troubled and saddened to hear that ICE shot and killed a U.S. citizen earlier today.
We know the Trump Admin is all too comfortable lying to Americans, which is why we need more details and a full, independent investigation into what happened instead of taking their word for it.

Don’t let the Donald Trump gaslight you—January 6th was a violent insurrection and a horrific day for the United States.
We cannot let him rewrite history and dishonor the law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to protect our democracy that day.
Auschwitz survivor and stepsister of Anne Frank, Eva Schloss, was a symbol of strength and resilience and an incredible educator on a history the world must never forget.
May her memory be a blessing.
Five years ago today, Trump sent violent insurrectionists to attack the U.S. Capitol.
Law & order won that day thanks to law enforcement, and many rioters were convicted.
Shamefully, Trump made it a priority last year to pardon these criminals, including those who assaulted police officers.
Millions of Americans are struggling to afford healthcare and groceries while Donald Trump is focused on costly regime change operations.
What happened to lowering costs for American families? Trump thinks that’s a “Democrat hoax.”

Happy New Year, Nevada! Wishing every Nevadan in every corner of our state a happy and healthy 2026.
I was proud to help pass the law to allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices. Starting in 2026, Medicare recipients will pay LESS in out-of-pocket costs for many lifesaving medications.
I’ll keep working to lower prescription drug prices for Medicare recipients & all Nevadans.
Wishing families across Nevada a very Merry Christmas! May this day be filled with love, joy, and lots of time with family and loved ones.
From the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, Silver Belle is a shining symbol of Nevada’s natural beauty and resilience, and we’re honored to have our state represented here in the nation’s capital for the first time.
While Nevada families worry about how they’ll afford their health insurance and groceries, Trump is focused on building his $400 million White House ballroom and slapping his name up on the Kennedy Center.
A new study estimates Trump’s tariffs have already cost American families over $1,000 extra on average.
This is essentially an additional tax on the things you purchase – which could mean paying over $2,000 extra next year.
We have to repeal these tariffs and give Nevadans some breathing room.
Trump’s FCC Chair investigated CBS for editing an interview of VP Harris.
But Fox did the same thing in an interview with Trump to make his answer about releasing the Epstein files look good – in the middle of a presidential campaign.
Why won’t Brendan Carr hold Fox to the same standard as CBS?
Only a billionaire who hasn’t stepped foot in a grocery store in years would say affordability is a hoax.
And then give himself an “A+++++” on the economy.
Trump is lying about the economy and Nevadans can feel it.
It was wonderful to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah with a menorah lighting at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas!
To all those celebrating, I hope your holiday is filled with love and light.
I’m leading the push to overturn a rule that could cause Nevadans to lose their work permits because of processing delays. This chaos will hurt Nevada’s economy and harm immigrant families.
The Trump Admin is making it harder for immigrants with legal status to keep working while they navigate long USCIS wait times for work permit renewals. ⬇️
Our brave firefighters put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe, and that’s why I fought to pass the bipartisan law to authorize this funding to make sure they have the resources they need.
Proud to have secured over $8 million in federal funding for Nevada’s fire departments to hire firefighters and improve emergency response readiness.
Every Senate Republican who just voted to raise your health care costs should be ashamed of themselves.
Thousands of Nevadans won’t be able to afford health insurance next year because Trump and Washington Republicans have refused to do ANYTHING to extend the ACA's enhanced tax credits.
Nevadans who work hard & play by the rules should be able to afford a nice place to live, put food on the table, & see a doctor without breaking the bank.
Washington Republicans are making it harder for you to live the American Dream while their billionaire buddies get more tax cuts. It’s shameful.
