Nevada is facing a dire shortage of doctors and nurses, especially in rural communities. I’m doing everything I can to ensure our state has more medical professionals, which is why I secured federal funding to help expand Western Nevada College’s Fallon Rural Nursing Program.

Eid Mubarak! Wishing Nevada's Muslim community and all those celebrating around the world a joyful Eid al-Adha.
I’m introducing a bipartisan bill with Senator Cornyn to clamp down on this illegal practice, and I’ll continue to work across party lines to protect American families.
Cartels in Mexico are profiting off of stolen fuel and crude oil, enabling them to sustain their illegal operations on both sides of the border.
As a Jewish American, I’ve been targeted and experienced hate simply because of my faith.
Now – more than ever – we need to take a stand to protect all religious communities from hate and violence.
This facility will help train more nurses and expand Nevada’s rural health care services so Nevadans in all corners of our state can get the care they deserve.
I’m glad to see the progress being made on the expansion of Western Nevada College’s rural nursing program in Fallon, made possible by federal funding I secured.
Making it harder for immigrants to get a green card through arbitrary requirements is yet another attempt by the Trump Administration to continue its cruel mass deportation agenda. This new policy will tear apart more families, hurt our economy, and must be overturned.
Memorial Day is a chance to come together and honor the men and women in uniform who heroically gave their lives to keep our country safe.
Today, I joined the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Day ceremony to honor the memories of Nevadans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Your backyard barbecue this summer costs more than last year, and Trump’s chaotic policies are to blame.
This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation defending our freedoms. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
As the Fallon Range Training Complex expands, our Northern Nevada ranchers are being forced to give up their land and livelihoods in service to our country.
I’ll keep working to make sure our ranchers in the Fallon community get the compensation they deserve.
I pressed the Secretary of the Air Force to provide the VA with accurate records proving these veterans served at locations where they were exposed, and I'll keep fighting to correct this injustice.
Veterans who served at contaminated locations – like parts of the Nevada Test and Training Range – should have the same presumption of radiation exposure as other government employees who served alongside them.
You can’t make this up – Donald Trump wants to pay his friends $1.8 billion of your tax dollars.
Just remember – this is the same president who cut funding for Medicaid and SNAP to give more tax breaks to his billionaire buddies.
Watch:
Mifepristone has been used safely and effectively for decades and restricting access to it puts women’s lives at risk.
I joined all my Senate Democratic colleagues to keep fighting to ensure access to mifepristone and protect women’s reproductive rights.
My bipartisan bill to combat antisemitism will protect Jewish students, help secure at-risk Jewish community institutions, and fight antisemitism online.
Religious communities deserve to be safe, and this bill will help make that a reality.
While you pay higher and higher prices at the gas pump and the grocery store, Donald Trump is planning to use $1.8 billion of YOUR tax money for a slush fund to pay his buddies.
He's shown where his priorities lie time and time again – he'll do anything to enrich himself and NOTHING to help you.

Trump and Republicans want to fund Trump’s billionaire ballroom with your tax dollars.
Here’s how we would spend that $1 billion instead:
I’m grateful to everyone who shared their stories with me, and I’m bringing them back to the Senate to continue fighting for Nevadans pursuing the American Dream.
