Honored to join the #VeteransDay Ceremony at Rancho Tapo Community Park in Simi Valley this morning to honor those who’ve served and sacrificed for our nation. Grateful to all the Veterans and community members who made this meaningful event possible.
On #VeteransDay, we honor every American who has worn our nation’s uniform & defended our freedoms. Their courage & sacrifice make our democracy possible.
But gratitude alone isn’t enough — we must also uphold our commitment to care for every veteran & their family, not just today, but every day.
Spoke with over 500 engaged students for my student #TownHall this morning at #BirminghamCommunityCharterHighSchool. Thank you for a great conversation!
This weekend we honored the life of friend and activist Dan Hirsch, who tirelessly advocated for a cleanup of the Santa Susana Field Lab site and inspired a movement to demand a safer and cleaner community.

I just told @ktla.com that this is a bad deal. It will cause the healthcare premiums of 22 million people to double or even triple. A promise to hold a vote in the Senate is irrelevant, since there won’t be a vote in the House.
I will be voting no.
Marked the birthday of the founder of #Sikhism with a celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurab at the Valley Sikh Temple.
Grateful to you @pelosi.house.gov for your decades of service to our state and our nation. And I look forward to all you will continue to accomplish in the years ahead. It’s been an honor to serve with you for nearly 30 years.
#NancyPelosi
