Donald Trump's tariffs are a tax on working families. And his on-again-off-again tariff “policy” is driving the cost of housing and everything else through the roof.
While costs skyrocket, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are robbing families to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. We need to stay laser focused on the administration’s reckless mismanagement of the economy.
Five things Donald Trump accomplished this week: 1. Promised more tax cuts for billionaires 2. Further abandoned our ally Ukraine 3. Flip-flopped on tariffs and tanked the stock market 4. Completely ignored skyrocketing prices 5. Went golfing Hope this helps, Elon.
For decades the Tule River Tribe has been trying to secure their rights to water supplies for their reservation. I joined @padilla.senate.gov in pushing a bill that would provide much-needed access to clean drinking water for tribal communities.
Every day another shameful betrayal of Ukraine by the Trump Administration. Every day another Ukrainian soldier may die because of the actions of a feckless U.S. president. We must not forget who we are. America stands with her allies.
Californians who lost everything deserve every measure of support from the federal government. @padilla.senate.gov and I are demanding FEMA extend the application deadline for LA fire victims. It's just common sense.
If you thought DOGE wouldn't eventually come for you – think again. Your hard-earned Social Security is under attack by an unelected billionaire. Right now.
Thousands of Californians lost everything in the Palisades and Eaton Fires. Now, many of them are left in limbo, struggling to obtain the insurance benefits they've paid for. I'm calling on insurance companies to provide answers – and solutions – for my constituents.
A weak U.S. president cuts off intelligence support to Ukraine — making it more difficult to defend against the Russian invader — once again doing the bidding of the dictator, Putin. Not peace through strength, nor peace, nor strength. Just more weakness.
Trump breaks every promise he makes.  He promised to lower the cost of living.  He promised to respect our veterans.  But there’s one promise you can count on him keeping:  Tax cuts for billionaires.
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”  You have to look no further than the pedestal of Lady Liberty to see what defines America. That’s who we are.   This speech – and this President – is not who we are.
