Reminder: Donald Trump and Republicans’ budget would obliterate Medicaid – stripping health care access and benefits from millions and millions of Americans. All to pay for his tax cut for billionaires.
Veterans fired from the VA. Nuclear security experts fired. Ebola and bird flu experts fired. DOGE is destroying critical agencies to pay for more tax cuts for billionaires. Don’t let them fool you into believing otherwise.
If you’re wondering how Donald Trump’s economic policies are actually going – compare your grocery bill from December with your bill last week. Gaslight all he wants – the reality is that American families are hurting. And Trump is making it worse.
Get ready for some world-class gaslighting tonight, as Donald Trump tries to paint a rosy portrait of the cost increases, corruption increases, and chaos of his first two months.
To every American tuning in to Trump’s address tonight, do two things before you watch: Check your 401k. Check your last grocery bill, and add 25%. No matter what the President says tonight, that’s the reality of what he’s doing to your family finances.
Things that will get more expensive in America, thanks to Donald Trump's trade war: Buying a home. Buying groceries. Replacing appliances. Fixing a car (or buying a new one). Paying an energy bill. Starting a business. Guess that’s what he’d call “fun for the whole family.”
Tomorrow, Donald Trump is going to talk about how America is Great Again, thanks to him. The truth? Food and other costs are up. Corruption is way up. And he’s making Russia great again, while making America look small and weak. An awful start to an administration.
The farmers I’ve spoken with still haven’t recovered the market share they lost the last time Trump imposed tariffs — over four years ago. This time, they’ll hurt even more. Much more. This is fun for whom, exactly?
Right now we’re seeing firefighters fired and aid to damaged communities threatened. That’s abhorrent. I hope Captain Culliver’s presence will remind my colleagues who these heroes are, and the sacrifices they make for all of us. And why we must stand with them. Always.
Captain Culliver has served as a firefighter for 25 years. He’s currently stationed at Vandenberg Space Force Base. When the Eaton Fire broke out, he rushed to the front lines. His work, and that of thousands of others, saved lives and livelihoods.
On the road in the Imperial Valley today with @repraulruizmd.bsky.social There is so much work to do. To address the crisis at the Salton Sea. To ensure that minerals extracted here benefit the people of the Imperial Valley. I'll be here to support folks every step of the way.
No shortage of livestock, spiral fries, and good times at Imperial County's Mid-Winter Fair. I even got to meet a few of California's most impressive future farmers – and one very impressive goat!
Exactly two people are celebrating the United States’ great abdication: Trump and Putin. The world weeps. Europe acts. And decades of U.S. leadership have been lost.
