Republicans control the House, Senate, and the White House.
And they don’t care if they destroy the economy with a schizophrenic tariff policy, or by shutting down the government.
None of it matters, if that can give another tax cut to the wealthy.

Is the Government Shutting Down? Here's what’s happening.

It's impossible to keep up with all the craziness that's going on these days.

I will not be voting for the partisan bill coming before the Senate that will further cement the Trump Administration’s chaos and reckless actions that are hurting working families and our economy.

The President is all over the map on major parts of his trade agenda. Markets are sliding and prices are soaring.
The whiplash is making people's heads spin and portfolios spiral.
Hurting small businesses – and hitting American families right in the pocketbook.

Let's talk about America's new enemy...
... Canada?

Not sure we have the same definition of "great."
As we watch our retirement accounts decimated, our benefits under attack, and the American economy hurting, Donald Trump has a totally reassuring message for us:
"We're just getting started."
If Donald Trump & Elon Musk have it their way, your Social Security will be privatized and your benefits will be entirely reliant on the stock market.
If you want a sense of what that'll be like – take a look at your 401k today.
Donald Trump says no one has been tougher on Russia than he has. Does he think the entire country is stupid?
We can see what he's doing – denying Ukraine military, intelligence and diplomatic support – with our own eyes.
No one is blind to his betrayal of our ally.

Is Donald Trump intentionally tanking the stock market? Let's break it down:

Mark Kelly is a retired Navy pilot, astronaut, and dedicated public servant. He is a hero.
Elon Musk is a self-absorbed coward.
Hope that clears things up.
The Golden Age?
Sadly, all we are seeing is red.
Donald Trump's tariffs are a tax on working families.
And his on-again-off-again tariff “policy” is driving the cost of housing and everything else through the roof.
While costs skyrocket, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are robbing families to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.
We need to stay laser focused on the administration’s reckless mismanagement of the economy.
Five things Donald Trump accomplished this week:
1. Promised more tax cuts for billionaires
2. Further abandoned our ally Ukraine
3. Flip-flopped on tariffs and tanked the stock market
4. Completely ignored skyrocketing prices
5. Went golfing
Hope this helps, Elon.
For decades the Tule River Tribe has been trying to secure their rights to water supplies for their reservation.
I joined @padilla.senate.gov in pushing a bill that would provide much-needed access to clean drinking water for tribal communities.
In case you missed it – Donald Trump and Elon Musk are getting ready to privatize the Postal Service.
Let's talk about what that would mean:

Every day another shameful betrayal of Ukraine by the Trump Administration.
Every day another Ukrainian soldier may die because of the actions of a feckless U.S. president.
We must not forget who we are.
America stands with her allies.
