Kash Patel took the 5th before agreeing to testify before a grand jury. Now he doesn’t want to share his testimony about Trump's unlawful retention of classified documents. @booker.senate.gov, @whitehouse.senate.gov, and I sent a letter demanding that he disclose what he said. It is essential.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk's strategy: 1) Install cronies at key agencies 2) Gain access to critical systems 3) Take from the needy 4) Give massive tax cuts to the rich A Reverse Robin Hood.
As California's first Senator on the Agriculture Committee in 30+ years, I'm ready to work hard on behalf Central Valley farmers and farm workers. I'm proud of this industry. And I'm going to do everything I can to support it. www.bakersfield.com/news/sen-sch...
Our office is receiving thousands of calls from concerned Californians. Keep 'em coming. Senate phones are having tech issues, so we're working to resolve the "voicemail full" note that you may be hearing. You can also reach us anytime at ➡️ schiff.senate.gov/contact/
Late last night, I spoke on the Senate floor. Because if my constituents are awake fearing Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s next actions – then I damn sure will be awake fighting back.
Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove says of the purge at FBI that the “only individuals who should be concerned … are those who acted with corrupt or partisan intent…” A perfect description of the actions of Trump's own DOJ leadership.
Shuttering the agency responsible for international assistance. Turning the government over to wealthy oligarchs motivated by economic self-interest. Telling all CIA officers they will be paid if they quit. China and Russia are winning so much they are getting tired of winning.
California farmers feed our nation and the world. But they’re facing water issues, tariffs, and workforce challenges – all while costs keep rising. As CA's first Senator on the Agriculture Committee in 30+ years, I'm fighting for them every day.

Donald Trump wants to abolish the Department of Education by executive order. He can’t. And he will waste taxpayer dollars to defend it. More litigation over another pointless order. Less money for education.
Firing top prosecutors and FBI agents. Deporting farmworkers who feed us. Letting billionaire oligarchs vandalize government agencies & access private data. There is a pattern to this corrupt behavior. Give Trump more power. Give the billionaires more money. Give you nothing.
I support this. Elon Musk cannot dismantle USAID without an act of Congress. Democrats must use every lever at our disposal to block his illegal takeover and shutdown of an essential government agency.
Trump Tax report if tariffs go into effect: If you’re buying a new car, estimates say you’ll spend up to $3k more for it – after the Trump Tax is applied. And if you need an oil change, reports say the Trump Tax will push prices over $100. Promises made. Promises broken.
