I think this thing feels new to them because although it was clear during the campaign he was a major player they didn’t expect this in terms of doing their actual jobs. So they are still sorting. FWIW very few people voted against the bill last night despite the explicit veto threat.
That the clean energy revolution is irreversible and we just increased social security benefits for a bunch of people yesterday who were getting screwed by an old and stupid law designed to punish people for being in public service.
It’s all of us. That might feel unsatisfying but there will not be one leader until we have a nominee for President. So it’s gotta be a team effort.
