As we continue our series on how NM is leading the way—we are talking today about our fight to protect our public lands, the sacred waters of the Rio Grande and our rivers and streams, and to ensure our communities have a climate-resilient and sustainable future.
I am proud to be in this fight!
Absolutely heartbroken at the news of the mass shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis today, and the loss of two children and at least 17 others injured. Our prayers are with the families and community. 💔
Every single major medical association in America has denounced conversion “therapy” for what it is: a cruel, harmful, and unscientific practice.
As a member of the @equality.house.gov, I joined 186 Members of Congress in calling to uphold state bans on these cruel practices for minors. 🏳️🌈
As we mark the anniversary of the 19th Amendment we recognize the generations of women who fought tirelessly to be counted and the ongoing fight today to protect these rights. We must keep bending that arc toward justice—especially as our communities face new assaults on their rights & freedoms.
In countless ways—New Mexico is leading the way!
Today, we start with education and our young people. NM leads as the first state to pass universal early childhood education and free college for all.
I’ve also delivered millions back to NM-01 for early childhood education and other programs!
It was an honor to join @mayorkeller.bsky.social and other local leaders last night for the State of the City.
From investments in housing, behavioral health, & public safety to investing in education, our young people, & the economy—we are delivering for our communities. #home 💪
The Trump Admin has launched an assault on clean energy jobs, costing the U.S. 64,000 jobs.
That is 64,000 people who lost access to good-paying jobs, benefits, and the ability to put food on the table.
This is the reality of Trump’s policies. Real people are losing jobs, and we must fight back!
NM has long been a center for art, music, and culture. On today’s mini Congressional NM-01 Concert, meet Entourage Jazz!
As we’re fighting to protect our democracy—we’re also celebrating our community and the art, culture, and connections that make things meaningful. Happy Sunday, everyone! 🎶💕
We had such a blast at the Zia Gay Rodeo today! And, it was such an honor to serve as the Grand Marshal! 🌈🐎
From the arena to the halls of Congress, we are fighting every day for our communities. Ride with pride, New Mexico!
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
These guys are so weak that they literally can’t handle the truth – or pull ups, apparently. 💅
This is GANGSTER BEHAVIOR—silencing political opponents, shows of force, and taking over institutions meant to protect people. This is what Members of both sides of the aisle warned of. As a member of the Oversight Committee—let us be clear: no one is above the law, including those subverting it.
This is not ok. The U.S. has a moral responsibility to act.
A beautiful day at Jemez Pueblo.
Many thanks to the Governor and Pueblo of Jemez for hosting the All Pueblo Council of Governors and to all of the Pueblo Governors and leaders for spending time with us and Senator Lujan today.
We are so grateful to be in this fight with so many amazing leaders!
We had the BEST time at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute Indigenous Food Lab and Culinary Arts Program. These chefs are training to start their own restaurants, bakeries, and food trucks—and cooking up some amazing food!
We can’t wait to see what these talented chefs do next!
This is yet another example of the real-world impact of the Trump Admin on our communities.
Tribal and rural communities rely on public radio for important news and updates. Without public radio, many of our communities could become information deserts.
This news is devastating.
Cracking and packing, gerrymandering in Texas, Trump’s election advice from Putin, and his DC takeover—here’s what you need to know about what’s going on. ⬇️
Friends, scammers are trying to capitalize on the expansion of RECA!
Stay diligent, don’t give out personal information to anyone you don’t trust, and if you have any questions, please call our office at (505) 346-6781 or the NM DOJ at (505) 490-4060.
We love our interns! Want to know what it’s like to be a Congressional intern? Meet Kylie, who interned with us this summer, and get the inside scoop.
We’re already gearing up for fall—but if you’d like to apply for a spring internship, visit our website: stansbury.house.gov/services/int...
ICYMI: EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin is not only gutting protections for the environment, but also gutting workforce protections by trying to terminate union contracts at the EPA.
We will fight this & protect our workers who are on the front lines defending our environment and communities every day.
Another wonderful day spent with our communities and the organizations that help our communities thrive!
I’m grateful to each and every person and organization putting in the work to make NM-01 and the world a better place. Proud to be in this fight together!

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
