Happy Pride! Every day, we celebrate the people and places in our community. Earlier this month, we visited Snapdragon Tea to hear their story and celebrate their success as a local LGBTQ+ business in Albuquerque!
Thank you Vanessa and Kitt for sharing your story! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩵🤍🩷
Thank you all for another amazing town hall!
And thank you to our amazing co-host City Councilor Nichole Rogers and special guests Mayor Keller, Senator Pope Jr., Rep. Anaya, and Councilor Baca
As always, Albuquerque you show up with your full hearts, grit, determination, and hope. ❤️
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures out there! I hope you all have the best day. ❤️
There is a lot going on in our country today.
I know many are feeling uncertain and scared —but know that we stand with you and to stand in your truth and in your power.
We are in this together and we will get through. They cannot take away our voices, our rights, or our joy. ❤️
We love our veterans! These are our real American heroes.
Honored to welcome home our New Mexico Honor Flight Veterans in Albuquerque yesterday after they spent the week in our nation’s capital.
Thank you for your service! Grateful to welcome you home. ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

We will hold the Trump Administration accountable for the assault against Senator Padilla.
We are here holding the line and fighting back — for every person in this country. For our democracy.

A federal judge issued an order late Thursday blocking President Trump from deploying members of the California National Guard in Los Angeles, and ordered the administration to return control of the forces to Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Here in America, there are no kings. ⬇️
This is what abuse of power looks like. Hands off U.S Senator @padilla.senate.gov
No one is above the law, Secretary Noem.
We will not stand quietly by while the Trump Administration attacks our communities and Members of Congress. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
Are we in a sci-fi movie? Is this the Twilight Zone?
Unfortunately, it’s worse.
Not only is our data at risk due to DOGE and the Administration—but Congress itself is currently trying to deregulate AI and data privacy protections across the country in the big abomination of a bill.
Today marks the anniversary of the Equal Pay Act—a landmark moment in the fight for gender equality.
But let’s be clear: the work isn’t done.
In New Mexico and across the country, women—especially women of color—earn much less for the same work. I will never stop fighting for equality for all.
After Trump’s breakup with Musk—we cannot get distracted from the reality that they are trying to take away healthcare and food assistance and deploying the military in our communities.
I will always stand with the people—whether it’s in NM, DC, or across our communities.
One thing is clear: the Trump Administration is abusing their power and threatening the safety of the American people. From breaching national security to deploying the military against our communities, I want to remind everyone: this. is. not. normal.
This ⬇️ is good news for democracy.
A message to our immigrant communities. ❤️
Anyone feeling this after last night? 👑🙋♀️ Feels more relevant than ever—especially with what’s going on.
But, also it’s a reminder of the strength and resilience of the American spirit. Stay strong everyone! #NoKings
Today on World Ocean Day—we celebrate our oceans, which sustain our communities, are home to countless ecosystems, and make our planet livable.
We must work every day to protect our oceans, to protect our waters, and to ensure climate resilience and justice for all. 🌊🐠🐙
Just because a guy tweets he’s opposed to a bill that would devastate millions of Americans—does not absolve him from dismantling vital programs, shattering thousands of lives, stealing our data, and breaking the law. Now is not the time to let up the fight in defending our democracy.
