I've dedicated my entire career to defending our land, water, and air, serving our communities, and working on Tribal issues.
And, I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
As I've had conversations with colleagues and the community, it's clear that bold, new leadership is needed to take on Trump’s dangerous, "drill, baby, drill" agenda and fight on the frontlines for our air, land, and water.
Luckily, I've spent my entire career doing just that.
New Mexico Wilderness Alliance is on the frontlines every day in the fight to protect our lands.
I’m grateful for their support and voice as I consider running to be the first woman Ranking Member of the House Natural Resources Committee. Now more than ever we need bold, new leadership.
So grateful for my sister from the North's support!
As the newly elected Chair of the Democratic Women's Caucus and leadership on HNRC, @fernandez.house.gov knows how important this committee is to our communities, and how vital it is to ensure women serve in leadership positions! ❤️
I’m grateful for yet another one of my colleague’s support.
It’s clear that bold, new leadership is wanted in the House Natural Resources Committee!
I'm honored that my colleagues are calling on me to serve!
I will continue to have conversations with others who are looking for bold, new leadership that will fight for our air, land, and water.
I am deeply honored and humbled by this endorsement from the current Ranking Member, whose historic tenure has kept Tribes, climate, and environmental justice at the forefront of our work.
I am so deeply proud and honored to represent NM and our communities on this committee and in Congress.
As I continue to have productive conversations with Democrats, I am deeply proud to have this endorsement from Rep. Raúl Grijalva for Ranking Member of the House Natural Resources Committee.
It's past time communities harmed by corporate pollution have funds to recover!
I introduced a polluters pay bill - the National Resilience and Recovery Fund Act, to close tax loopholes for corporate polluters. Those responsible for the climate crisis must be responsible for the harm done.
Many of you are traveling to see loved ones during the holidays, be sure your passports are up to date and ready for when you travel!
Need some passport assistance? My office can help! Visit stansbury.house.gov/services/hel... to submit your form!
We must continue to fight for climate justice and a clean energy future!
I'm honored to have been a part of the conversation with Make Polluters Pay and other environmental leaders on the climate fight ahead.
Not demure, not mindful, and quite frankly, very scary.
I will do everything I can in Congress to mitigate the incoming Trump administration's devastating impacts on public land.
Today, 54 years after César Chávez was jailed for leading a boycott against farm owners who fired hundreds of Latino workers and retaliated with violence, we remember his courage and resilience.
We must honor his legacy and continue to work toward safe, fair working conditions.
Behavioral health and addiction services are vital to address the crises affecting so many New Mexicans. That's why I've secured more than $7.3 million in Community Project Funding to ensure that care.
Our communities deserve not just to live, but to thrive. Nothing less.
Happy birthday to New Mexico's very own: Deb Haaland!
Thank you for your fierce and unfaltering leadership. Enjoy your day! 🎂❤️
Veterans deserve our unwavering support and respect. They fought for us, now it’s our turn to fight for them.
That's why I introduced the Veteran Benefits Enhancement Act - because our veterans in the railroad industry deserve the benefits they are entitled to under the RUIA.
Today on Rosa Parks Day we honor the woman, the movement, and the people who took a stand, who marched, and who led the way.
America is the land of the free. We are not going back. The fight for civil rights, freedom, and equality for all people continues.
Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy.
New Mexico is full of entrepreneurs and family businesses—that make us who we are.
Today on Small Business Saturday (and every day) support a small business!
Today on Native American Heritage Day we honor the cultures, histories and sovereignty of our Tribal Nations and Indigenous peoples.
And, we recommit ourselves every day to serving the First Nations and people who have called these lands home for countless generations.
Happy Thanksgiving, New Mexico!
As we’re getting ready for our family meal—I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving day! I am thankful for all of you and for the opportunity to serve our communities.
I hope you have a beautiful day celebrating with the people you love! 🦃
