(2/2) Read the full @newdems.bsky.social affordability agenda here ➡️
I'm proud to announce that my @newdems.bsky.social colleagues & I just released our Affordability Agenda, which gives Congress a clear path for how we can lower costs for families. (1/2)
As a member of the @newdems.bsky.social, I know that so many working families are struggling to make ends meet.
That's why we just released an agenda that provides real, commonsense solutions for how Congress can lower costs on everything from health care to groceries.
📞 I called Liberty House Children’s Advocacy Center to deliver good news: $1,000,000 in federal funding is on its way.
This money will go to assessment, treatment, and prevention of child abuse, neglect, and trauma.

THREAD 🧵 The latest batch of Epstein Files are disgusting and shocking. We wanted to give the public an understanding of the most important takeaways.
Our state’s history is not complete without recognizing the many positive contributions that countless Black Oregonians have made.
As we celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth, take a moment to learn about Black history keepers here in #Oregon.
House Republicans and President Trump are doing NOTHING to help you pay your utility bill, make next month's rent, or feed your children.
In fact, their big UGLY bill is making it even HARDER for you and your families to live your lives.
Last week I toured Treske Precision Machining — a #Sherwood manufacturing company specializing in precision machining and custom metal components. 🧑🏭
#OR06 businesses like Treske play a vital role in supporting our workforce and strengthening our local economy. Thanks for having me!
The cost of housing is too high.
Today, I proudly voted to pass the Housing for the 21st Century Act. This bipartisan bill will cut red tape, boost housing supply, and help communities create more affordable homes people can actually afford.
This is how we make housing more affordable.
ICE is acting without a shred of accountability.
The choices made now will determine whether we can prevent more violence or if Congress has abandoned its responsibility to protect the American people.
I’ve been fighting to safeguard the rights of our LGBTQ+ community members — first as a mother and now as a legislator.
I spoke to the Washington Blade about my new role in @equality.house.gov and how I am going to keep working until every American can live out their most authentic lives.
I had the opportunity to tour Northwest Human Services, a long-time health care institution for underserved communities in Salem since 1970.
Federally Qualified Health Centers like this one help ensure nobody is overlooked. I’ll keep fighting so that all Oregonians can get the care they deserve.
"I feel so much sadness and depression of not being able to leave."
That’s what Gabby, a 14-year-old, said about being locked in an ICE detention facility.
Children like Gabby should be at school with their friends, not locked up with strangers.

Teen dating violence affects almost 10% of all U.S. teenagers.
This Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month, let’s emphasize awareness, education, & prevention — giving young folks the tools needed to have healthy relationships & end cycles of abuse. #MentalHealthMonday
Learn more below.
The team you are rooting for should be breaking records, not your grocery bill.
I met with members of the Oregon School Board Association in D.C. to discuss everything from funding challenges to mental health support.
I'll keep working to strengthen our public schools and ensure that every student gets the resources they need both in and out of the classroom.

🚨 BREAKING: USDA just revised 2025 net farm income DOWN by $25 billion.
That's the Trump administration's own data confirming what farmers already knew: the American farm economy is in crisis. But sure, keep telling us it's the "Golden Age" of agriculture.
So many of our neighbors are struggling to get by, yet President Trump insists on taking $10 billion from YOU, the taxpayer.
INSANE.
