Trump’s illegal deployment of the National Guard in Oregon cost more than twice as much as previous estimates.
Guard deployments across the country have cost taxpayers $496 million in total.

I shared my commitment to working with our #OR06 local elected officials to find ways to help our communities thrive.

Ranking Member @neal.house.gov's statement below:
Silencing free speech, denying people their rights, and killing people on the streets — these are the actions of an authoritarian regime, not a democracy.
Hear what I had to say on KGW last night ⬇️
Last week I spoke to leaders from public liberal arts colleges across the country — including President Jesse Peters of Western Oregon University in #OR06.
These institutions play an integral role serving first-generation and underserved students. Now more than ever, they need our strong support.

Génesis Ester Gutiérrez Castellanos is a 5-year-old U.S. citizen. Karen Guadalupe, her mother, applied for a U Visa after surviving abuse — a visa meant to protect victims.
This mother trusted the very system that would fail to protect them.

Oregon has a strong ag industry, and maintaining our roads and bridges is essential to supporting our economy and connecting our communities.
That's why I secured federal funding to keep our infrastructure safe and reliable, and I'll keep working to bring in more resources for #OR06.

Grocery costs are rising, so stay tuned to see just how expensive they’ve become.
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the horrors of the Holocaust and honor the millions of lives lost.
Together, let’s recommit to stopping hate and antisemitism in all its forms. #NeverAgain
