The fact that a sitting FCC commissioner is making public threats to private businesses to chill speech the administration disagrees with should outrage every American, regardless of party. I’ll continue to stand up for every person’s right to free speech. (2/2) www.latimes.com/entertainmen...
This administration’s attacks on free speech are un-democratic and un-American. (1/2)
Today marks one year since we lost our friend and colleague Brad Onorato. For 34 years, Brad worked harder than anyone for our district. He was a bulldog for our constituents and a dear friend. It was the honor of a lifetime to have him on my team. We miss you every day, Brad!
It’s both sad and tragic that Congressional Republicans wouldn’t work with us to provide affordable health care for hardworking Americans. Read my full statement on Congressional Republicans’ partisan spending bill below.
Now, more than ever, members of Congress on both sides of the aisle need to come together with civility and empathy to address all forms of violence hurting our country and work to improve the lives of the people we represent. (2/2)
Joined a bipartisan group of my colleagues today to urge an end to political violence and hate of all types. (1/2)

I hope to see you tonight!
Horrified by the killing of three law enforcement officers and the injuring of two more in Pennsylvania yesterday. We owe a debt of gratitude to our men and women in uniform and my prayers are with the families of those lost and injured. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
TOMORROW AT 6 PM: I’m going live on Zoom with @kyla.bsky.social to answer your questions about how current economic and trade policies are affecting our community.

Today, on Constitution and Citizenship Day, we honor the foundation of our democracy and celebrate the immigrants who make our nation great.
237 years ago, our founding fathers signed the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution plays a meaningful role in the lives of all Americans, especially those who are Americans by choice.
If you have a story to share about how our country’s economic policies are hurting you, let me know here: bit.ly/ShareYourEco...
This week’s headline roundup: Americans across our country are facing layoffs and struggling to pay their bills. Our system is broken and more Americans are struggling each day. We need change. (1/2)
Saddened by the passing of iconic actor and former CA-04 neighbor, Robert Redford. He was an incredible actor, director, and environmentalist and he will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones. www.cbsnews.com/news/robert-...
Together, we can ensure the over 70 million Americans living with disabilities have the tools they need to cast their ballots with privacy and independence.
Every voter deserves the opportunity to cast their ballot without barriers.
Grateful for the outstanding local leaders and advocates who helped spread the word and educate on accessible voting this past #DisabilityVotingRightsWeek.

Excited to celebrate #HispanicHeritageMonth.
I’m proud to honor the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of our Hispanic community and to stand in strong support of the vibrant role they play in our nation’s story.
Led my @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social colleagues in demanding the IRS stop sharing taxpayer data with ICE.
Using sensitive information to target immigrants undermines taxpayers’ trust and diverts the agency from its core mission of fairly collecting revenue.
Davis residents: My team is hosting in-person office hours TOMORROW, September 15 from 2 to 4pm with the offices of Supervisor Sheila Allen and Supervisor Lucas Frerichs.
Please drop in to discuss with my team any support you may need and stay tuned for more sessions throughout our district!
