I joined the House Veterans Affairs Committee today for a roundtable on veterans’ benefits, where I highlighted the unbearable wait times and staffing crisis at the Fredericksburg Health Care Center in my district.
Our veterans deserve timely, high-quality care — and this facility is falling short.

42 million Americans rely on SNAP benefits to feed themselves and their families.
Heather, a mom from Prince William, is one of them.
Without SNAP, she won't be able to provide her two children the balanced meals they need to grow and stay healthy.
No family should go hungry in America.

Cindy and I are praying for those impacted by last night’s crash of UPS Flight 2976 in Louisville.

Big congratulations to my friend and predecessor Abigail Spanberger on her victory tonight!
Abigail’s leadership and integrity have always served Virginians well — and I look forward to partnering with her to lower costs, invest in our schools, and keep our communities safe.

Last night, I was honored to attend the Manpower and Reserve Affairs Marine Corps Ball with General David Berger and Sgt. Dakota Meyer to celebrate 250 years of the Marines.
I’m deeply grateful for the service and sacrifice of every Marine who has defended our nation.
Q: What’s one thing that we all can agree on?
A: Spotted lanternflies are the worst.
This invasive pest has now reached 19 states and DC, threatening our vineyards, orchards, and farms.
That’s why I’m leading bipartisan legislation with a simple message: If you see it, squish it.
Our military families shouldn’t suffer because the House GOP won't do their job.
One Marine Corps family from my district is now without pay during this shutdown — their only income frozen.
Stories like these remind us of the stakes of this shutdown. Those who serve our nation deserve better.
42 MILLION Americans will lose their SNAP benefits TODAY.
👉That's 16 million children, 8 million seniors, and 1.2 million veterans.
The Trump admin has the funds and legal authority to fund this program but are choosing to let people go hungry instead.
