As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, I want to wish the Muslim community in Georgia and across the nation a joyous and peaceful Eid al-Fitr!
May peace be upon you!

No money for your health care.
No money for hungry families.
No money for grandma’s nursing home.
No money for Elmo.
No money for cancer research.
But endless money for war.
We can’t lose sight of this.
The President is currently in the process of ripping health care away from millions of Americans.
It is the largest rollback of health care coverage in history.
Senate Republicans just blocked my bill that would have paid TSA workers.
My Republican colleagues are saying that if you don't give the President's overgrown paramilitary force of masked agents more money, they're going to leave TSA workers and others unpaid.
I think that's patently unfair.
I’m heartbroken by the shooting at a VA clinic in Jasper, Georgia yesterday. I'm praying for the victim who was injured and wishing them a full and speedy recovery.
Keeping the Jasper community and our veterans in my thoughts. No one should face violence in a place meant for care.
Launching a new war.
Ripping health care away from millions.
Unleashing terror on our streets.
This President feels his support collapsing.
That’s why he is so desperate to suppress the vote.
Did you know that Savannah's St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the largest in America? Wishing a happy St. Patrick’s Day to all those celebrating in Savannah and across the state of Georgia! ☘️
The spiritual rot of this White House is eating at the core of our nation's highest values.
They are sending Americans to fight and die overseas while kicking people off of health care here at home.
Good news. A judge has just BLOCKED some of Sec. Kennedy’s disastrous attacks on vaccines. This is an important victory for science and for our health, but the fight continues. Keep up the pressure.
War ends with flag draped coffins.
It ends with names etched in gravestones.
And it lives on in the hearts of loved ones left behind.
We can’t lose sight of the true cost of war.
Health insurance should not cost more than your mortgage.
I don’t think families should have to take on a $31,000 deductible in order to find a health care plan they can afford.
We can do better than this.
There’s no money for your health care but they can afford to spend nearly a billion dollars a day on this war?
Billionaires and corporations don't need more tax breaks. Americans need health care.
Despite launching a new war in the Middle East, President Trump has not taken his eye off the ball.
He's still determined as ever to complete his goal of kicking millions of Americans off of their health care.
I’m heartbroken by the news that six more American servicemembers have lost their lives in the conflict with Iran. Six families are facing unimaginable loss tonight. We honor their service and keep their loved ones in our prayers.
Republicans in Washington continue to brag about ripping food away from hungry families.
It’s shameful.
If you want to talk about waste, fraud, and abuse, let’s talk about the $11 billion the President just spent on an illegal war that the American people do not want.
26 million+ Americans don't have health care. Thousands of veterans are homeless. Children go to bed hungry in this country every single night.
We do not suffer a poverty of resources. We suffer a lack of moral imagination.
Happy Birthday, Ambassador Young! A civil rights leader, pastor, former Mayor of Atlanta, UN Ambassador, US Representative, global citizen, and a Georgia icon, Andy Young continues to inspire us all. I’m grateful to call him a friend.
