We’re experiencing the worst measles outbreak in years. And it’s in no small part because Sec. Kennedy is casting doubt on vaccines. This kind of reckless rhetoric has consequences. Especially when it’s coming from the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Who is most likely to drop off insurance when rates more than double next year because of Republicans in DC? Healthy people. That sends the price of insurance UP across the board and leaves people uncovered. It’s a lose-lose.
1 million+ Georgians are logging on to the health care portal to see their rates for next year and are being forced to make impossible choices about how to pay for their insurance. I will not stop fighting to fix this health care crisis that Republicans in DC created.
We can’t lose sight of this: When people lose insurance because Republicans failed to fund health care tax credits for the ACA, EVERYONE’s insurance goes up. Doesn’t matter if you get health insurance on your own or through your employer.
