Tonight I join Jewish families worldwide to celebrate the festival of lights. #Chanukah unites us to recount blessings and unexpected triumphs, and spend time with loved ones.
Happy Chanukah FL-25!

This attack must be denounced by all and leaders must take action to address antisemitism, which has seen an explosive rise, worldwide.
My heart aches for these victims and families. May the memories of the lost be for a blessing.
This horrific, targeted mass murder of Australian Jews on the first night of Chanukah is a direct result of the global vilification and dehumanizing rhetoric aimed at the Jewish community.
I'm horrified by last night's mass shooting at Brown University—yet another community scarred by gun violence. May the memories of those lost be for a blessing.
Over and over, firearms threaten the safety of Americans. Commonsense gun reforms cannot wait.
Wednesday, December 17 at 6:30PM ET, I'm holding a town hall to discuss what I was able to accomplish in 2025, and what I'll work on in the year ahead. Join me to hear how I worked for you this past year, and share what you'd like to see in 2026.

There was no one with better humor or good nature than Footy. He was a dear friend. His voice, advocacy and personality will be deeply missed. May his memory be for a blessing.
My heart is heavy today over the loss of the legendary John “Footy” Kross. Footy helped wake up South Florida for 30+ years on Y100 and his commitment to community was second to none. Through Here’s Help, he assisted thousands of people fighting addiction and changed so many lives.
ACA tax credits expire at the end of the month. If they do, millions of Americans will be priced out of healthcare coverage.
Republicans must come to the table and negotiate an extension.
I'll always work hard to continue the growth of the mighty Port Everglades engine and reduce harmful health and environmental impacts to our local communities.
So glad to meet with the Port's leadership this week!
The Cuban regime has jailed and tortured 1,000+ people who peacefully demanded freedom on July 11, 2021.
Esteban Rodríguez was one of them. I stand with him as we fight to free every political prisoner and ensure all Cubans—including here in the U.S.— can live free from fear.
While we spend billions to restore the Everglades, House Republicans voted to pollute it.
@usrepkathycastor.bsky.social, @repwilson.bsky.social, @frankel.house.gov, @repdarrensoto.bsky.social and I tried to exempt the Everglades from this dirty water bill, but House Republicans rejected it.
It's been over a year since Trump promised it, and we still don't have the Republican "concept of a plan" for healthcare.
It's time to extend the ACA tax credits and end their political games.

Our lives are increasingly intertwined with the internet, and those who would commit crimes against our children know that. With my bipartisan PROTECT Our Children Act, we'll get predators offline and keep kids safe.
So proud that it passed the House!
If we don't extend ACA tax credits, families will be forced to choose between paying rent or for healthcare. It doesn't have to be that way.
Republicans will own this healthcare cost explosion. Americans deserve better.

With vital ACA tax credits set to expire, I just met with Hispanic Unity to hear how these price hikes will force my constituents to make impossible choices, like whether to pay for health coverage, rent, or groceries.
I'm fighting to lower all these costs.
We must extend healthcare tax credits that expire in weeks.
Every House Democrat signed a discharge petition to extend them for 3 years. We need 4 Republicans to grow a spine and join us.
No more complaining about Trump in private, then caving in public. It's time to act.
If Trump wants to stop drug smugglers, why pardon a drug lord?
If Trump wants to topple Maduro, why prop him up with oil money?
If Trump cares about Venezuelans' rights, why violate them in ICE facilities?
If Trump seeks democracy in Venezuela, why trash democracy in the US?
Last week, I joined @meeks.house.gov and @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social to condemn Trump's pardon of Honduran drug lord Juan Orlando Hernández, who smuggled 300M+ lethal doses of cocaine.
When we take back control, Democrats will expose Trump's corruption and end his pardon-peddling.
Are hardworking Americans better off now than they were a year ago?
"..the issues that our children are facing at the moment is horrible."
We must keep fighting for a better world for our kids.
