Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Deborah Wasserman Schultz is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Florida's 25th congressional district, first elected to Congress in 2004. A member of the Democratic Party, she was the chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from 2011 until her resignation in 2016.

Each May, Jewish American Heritage Month allows us to teach and learn about the Jewish community to help combat antisemitism. I’m inspired by Tree of Life’s resilience in the face of tragedy, and I was grateful to moderate an interfaith panel on the lessons learned from it last night.
