Noem's been a chief architect of the president's massive deportation campaign, abandoning our laws to prioritize quotas.
She's mobilized poorly trained agents who've wrongfully detained U.S. citizens, pepper sprayed children, and killed protesters in the street.
She started her tenure saying, “We’re going to eliminate FEMA.”
And then she watched as $3 billion meant for disaster preparedness efforts were cancelled.
Then, she shrank FEMA's workforce while adding more red tape to getting disaster recovery funding to impacted communities.
Kristi Noem has proven time and again that she's unfit to lead the Department of Homeland Security.
Instead of making our communities safer, she’s been a rubber stamp for President Trump's policies that keep hurting Americans.
Kristi Noem went around the traditional bidding process and gave $143 million in taxpayer funds to a company she had close ties with to produce a massive ad campaign featuring her on a horse in front of Mount Rushmore.
The company had been created just days before.
