Congress just passed the most significant housing legislation in more than 3 decades as we fight to lower costs for hardworking families. Instead of using this bipartisan legislation as leverage to enact voter suppression laws, the president should sign the bill and provide relief to the people!
Yesterday, Donald Trump was supposed to sign a huge bipartisan bill to bring down housing costs. But he didn't. Why not? Donald Trump doesn't care about the cost squeeze on American families. Mr. President: Sign the bill.
The Supreme Court is letting Trump ignore laws set by Congress and send hardworking, legal immigrants into imminent danger in Haiti, Syria, and other violent countries. It’s horrific. This decision is a disaster for the rule of law and a disaster for thousands of families.

The Senate just passed the biggest housing bill in more than 30 years. It’s going to help build more homes, lower the cost of housing, and stop private equity from buying up single family homes. This is how we put home ownership back within reach.
If Congress doesn't act now, Social Security benefits could be cut by more than 20 percent after 2032. Senator Bernie Moreno and I have a bipartisan solution: lift the Social Security payroll tax cap. We need to save Social Security for the next generation. Let's get this done.
