ICE remains out of control. We cannot let the status quo continue and must hold to our demands. No more taxpayer dollars until they stop abusive tactics, Congress puts enforceable guardrails in place, and we see accountability for the cruelty and chaos.
Saw where Tiffany & Co’s Cumberland team hand makes the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Can't wait for Drake Maye and the @patriots.bsky.social to bring it home. 🏆🤞🏿
Great meeting the Rhode Island students I nominated to our nation’s service academies. Their commitment to service and leadership gives me hope for our future.
Republicans rejected my efforts to hold ICE accountable, repeal their $75 billion slush fund & instead invest that money into health care. Then House Republicans voted to keep the status quo in funding ICE. That’s just wrong. I'll keep fighting to end the chaos & cruelty.
Grabbed a cup of joe at Bitty & Beau’s in Providence. ☕ Run by Rhode Islanders with disabilities, the shop helps celebrate the abilities of all in our community. Special thanks to Sean, Maggie, Rosie, and Ronen for a fantastic coffee!
Trump & Rubio aren’t cutting waste, they’re creating it by burning food aid and trashing medicine. I introduced the SUPPLIES Act to protect the lifesaving aid Americans have already paid for and make sure it ends up in the hands of people in need, not the incinerator.
Black History Month is a time to reflect on the journey and contributions of Black Americans. This Black History Month, despite the attacks on a full telling of our nation’s story, we must recommit to preserving truth as we continue to work for progress.
Kristi Noem's masked agents have violated Constitutional rights and killed Americans. It's time for accountability and that must include Noem’s removal or impeachment. She’s got to go.
Trump’s driving health care costs through the roof. It's the last day of open enrollment in RI & Republicans' refusal to extend ACA tax credits is forcing families to make tough choices. Find coverage at healthsourceri.com and I'll keep fighting to lower costs.
🚨Delivering for Rhode Islanders🚨 Secured $850,000 to help restore the exterior of the historic Cumberland Public Library and help keep Rhode Islanders reading for generations to come.
Trump's violent ICE and Border Patrol agents are out of control. Strategized with a group of diverse Rhode Island faith leaders about how we can work together to protect our communities. It's time to impeach Noem, end the violence & chaos, and keep our neighborhoods safe.
One year later, my thoughts are with Barrington’s Lane family and all who lost loved ones in the plane crash at DCA. This accident was preventable. That’s why I’ll keep pushing to pass the ROTOR Act, so no more families experience this kind of tragedy. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/01/28/m...
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the six million Jews and millions of others murdered by the Nazis. We remember their memories, mourn their loss & commit to confronting antisemitism, rejecting hatred, and building a world where every life is valued.
