There is no reason big drug companies should charge an arm and a leg for medicine that’s been around for more than 100 years and remains essentially unchanged. I’m pushing to make it just $35 a month.
This President is trying to shut down the Department of Education and undermine special education. Why? Not to make our kids get a better education, but to fulfill a campaign tagline. I heard from parents today about what this means for their families and children’s education.
$37 billion of your tax dollars, folks. We could’ve used that money to lower your health care costs, or make child care more affordable, or lower the cost of living. Instead, it was spent on an illegal war that’s gotten us nothing but higher costs.
ICE fatally shot two men in just one week. This agency is out of control and totally unaccountable. My Republican colleagues need to wake up and stop ignoring Americans’ demands to rein in ICE.
