Deploying federal agents to local polling places won’t make our elections any safer. But what it will do is cause chaos and stop eligible voters from casting their ballots. We can’t let that happen.
These last few weeks, I’ve traveled to every corner of Wisconsin and heard how Donald Trump’s chaotic tariffs and war in Iran have made it harder for small businesses to make ends meet. It’s clear they need relief, now.
Diesel prices hit $6/gallon. Wisconsinites are paying nearly $4/gallon on average for gas to fill up their cars. This is all thanks to Trump’s illegal war of choice in Iran. Families can’t afford this needless war, we need to end it now.
25 yrs ago, our nation was shaken to its core when we experienced the deadliest terrorist attack on US soil. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost and families were changed forever. Thousands of first responders ran towards danger and are still grappling with the consequences. And a country forever scarred.
The deadliest day of President Trump’s Iran war was more than six months ago, but the families of these fallen servicemembers have been left in the dark about what really happened. These families and the American public need answers, now.
Head Start is more than an investment in our kids’ futures; it ensures parents can get back to work knowing their kids are in good hands. We should be doing everything we can to protect and strengthen this program. www.wjfw.com/news/local/s...
Our Main Streets are hurting right now because of reckless trade wars and soaring costs, and this chaos must end now. It was great to meet with small business owners in Janesville who told me what this all means for the businesses they’ve worked so hard to make successful.
Our Made in Wisconsin economy would be nothing without the grit and hard work of our union workers. It was good to stand with workers in Madison and Milwaukee to celebrate Labor Fest and honor their fight for fair wages, good benefits, and the right to be heard in the workplace.
The consequences of Trump’s reckless trade war are going to be very real for Wisconsin manufacturers and family farmers – folks being laid off, wages frozen, and our economy taking a toll. The president needs to stop gambling with people’s livelihoods.
Happy Labor Day to the workers who power our Wisconsin and American economy. Today, our fight for fair pay, workplace safety, and respect on the job continues. 💪🏻
Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese in Waterloo is making a new burrata—and it is about perfect! I was happy to be there to celebrate the new product and see how they are utilizing my Dairy Business Innovation Initiative to keep evolving and serving up award-winning cheese.
