Our Main Streets create jobs and drive our economy, but they also give each of our communities’ character and life. It was a treat to meet small business owners in Merrill to hear about their challenges and how we can work together to keep their doors open for years to come.
Today, I heard from folks at the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, who told me how they might have to turn away hungry families because Elon Musk and President Trump are taking away critical resources that help keep Wisconsinites fed. This Administration must stop their cruelty.
I was in Green Bay today to hear from families who are scared about Republicans ripping away their health care. Wisconsinites like these folks are standing up against attacks on their Medicaid, and I’m with them in this fight.
I refuse to sit back and watch the richest man in the world come after Wisconsinites' Social Security. On #SocialSecurityDayOfAction, I remain as committed as ever to protecting the benefits our seniors have rightfully earned.
From breweries to farmers to roofers, our small businesses will be some of the hardest hit by President Trump's trade war. I heard from local business owners in Milwaukee about how these unnecessary tariffs will raise costs for them and their customers.
The Ozaukee Food Alliance works to provide hot meals to hundreds of Wisconsin families in need. Today, I was in Saukville to see their work firsthand and discuss how the Trump Administration is taking away resources that they rely on to keep our families fed.
It’s wrong that big corporations can jack up drug prices on a whim, leaving Wisconsinites stuck paying through the nose or skipping their medication altogether. Families need relief, and I’m fighting to get it for them. www.antigojournal.com/news/local/b...
Wisconsin families want access to more affordable child care, not less. Gutting Head Start – the program that so many Wisconsin families rely on for good child care – is wrong in every way. We will fight this. apnews.com/article/head...
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are stiffing our farmers and processors – taking away resources these folks were guaranteed. It’s unacceptable that this administration is leaving them high and dry just so they make their rich friends richer. edition.cnn.com/2025/03/30/b...
