Wisconsin families want access to more affordable child care, not less. Gutting Head Start – the program that so many Wisconsin families rely on for good child care – is wrong in every way. We will fight this. apnews.com/article/head...
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are stiffing our farmers and processors – taking away resources these folks were guaranteed. It’s unacceptable that this administration is leaving them high and dry just so they make their rich friends richer. edition.cnn.com/2025/03/30/b...
Trans people deserve to live with safety and dignity – just like everyone else. I proudly stand with the trans community across the country in celebrating the right and freedom to live your lives just as you are. #TransDayofVisibility 🏳️‍⚧️
Donald Trump and Elon Musk are working to rip away cures to diseases and it will make the sick sicker all so they can make the rich richer. I was proud to join these patients, researchers, and doctors in sounding the alarm against efforts to stop the search for lifesaving cures.
Donald Trump and Elon Musk claim they want to ‘Make America Healthy Again,’ but their actions to cut lifesaving Alzheimer’s disease and cancer research say otherwise. This isn’t efficiency, this is cruelty. spectrumlocalnews.com/nys/central-...
Billionaires like Elon Musk and Donald Trump don’t respect workers or their voices in the workplace. They are dead wrong and their union-busting needs to stop. I’m proud to stand with these workers and support their right to organize.
Stripping collective bargaining and union rights from workers across the federal government is the very definition of union busting — and a blatant attempt to silence us. We will fight this outrageous attack on our members with every fiber of our collective being.
Screenshot of the AFL-CIO's statement condemning the Trump administration's executive order stripping collective bargaining and union rights from workers across the federal government.
A billionaire thinks people won’t care if they don’t get the benefits they have rightfully earned?? Try telling that to the millions of hardworking Americans and Wisconsinites who paid into Social Security through a lifetime of hard work. www.axios.com/2025/03/21/s...
Since we passed this law, millions of our friends, family, and neighbors have gotten good health care at a price they can afford. Look, I know it’s not perfect and we have more work to do to lower costs but I can tell you what won’t help: repealing the Affordable Care Act.
That’s why one of my proudest moments was helping write the Affordable Care Act — standing up to big insurance companies and ensuring people with pre-existing conditions were not blocked out of care.
